Little chapter? Raises eyebrow. I was actually thinking getting buried in the Deathwatch Forge Vaults and becoming a sort of blackshield for his experiments on xeno weaponry.

I'm fine with that. I'd imagine that things didn't go so well for the deathwatch after the current group disappeared for 1.3 millennia.

Not just that but I hinted several times that the Imperials stopped using their human-armies and utilized more the chapters because they feel sooooo obligated to keep the Imperium safe from alien threats.

So the Deathwatch and various chapters were 1st line of defense in these chaotic times. Got the inspiration from the Beast stories actually since the navy high admiral guy did exactly that. Even to Vulkan and such he was kind of "I don't want to waste my ships against Orks, you go and fight, you are Space Marines." lolz
