As the strange beam left the cannon it was as though it sucked heat right out of the room as it penetrated the holograms and mirror sheen ice imidiatly started forming at the end, the place had ofcouse been made to test imperial heavy weapons, but they where mostly heat based.

The sword, since being a training weapon, would be blocked by a Marine in power armor (OOC I never wrote I took it off, so I guess we both are in it atm? If not, then whatever, he blocked it as well but I'll adjust later on) without much issue. The spear however, was met with the same fate as the Dark Angel tried to side-step it by moving its haft away with his fist before coming once again close and personal, using the pommel of his sword to hit Iron Snake straight in his nose and maybe break it.
