    Claudius shook his head, "As if I have come all this way to turn back. I will not cower from what must be done, and I will not fail. Let us get moving while the rest of my former team remains occupied. Further interference from them could jeopardize the mission's success. If you have any ideas or knowledge of this place, I suggest you Take point." After following a moment and looking around, he remembered his wound and looked down to see if any progress on his body's healing had been made. Not surprisingly, it had made none, and so Claudius turned to the Blood Raven and his Ultramarine brother and asked, "I do not suppose one of you is versed in healing or has a spare kit to help me out? I need to be at full strength to finish this. Even if it means using more...frowned upon methods."

    Tul slowly realised in horror what now had transpired. He could never imagine what it would really be like. His sorrow deepened. The numbness combined with darkness was terrifying after he had been so animated.
    "No no no no..!"
    He tried to move but his limbs did not respond. Raging against his bondage he attempted to deny this reality. Then the thoughts settled in his mind, Dast had taken his place. His mutilated body slumped down accepting his fate.
    "You are twice the Salamander I have ever been...You deserve the glory."

    As the muted numb moments passed, he was silent.
    Thinking of his past and life as a neophyte. The early life as an Emperors' Angel of Death and past battles. The memories were shrinking away. Anger begun to rise in his breast, his two hearts beating furiously.
    "This is not real! We only did our duty, Dast performed according to our faith! THAT WORLD SHOULD BURN FOR WHAT THEY DID TO US!"

    @@Anyone| Picking up Claudius' shield Jacen glanced at the webway portal. Part of him knew he should follow, to stop Claudius' madness, but he was weary from the duel and so the Rampager made his way to the Thunderhawk, entering the transport and climbing into the cockpit. Getting into the pilot's seat he activated the vox-system and linked it to his armour's.
    "This is Jacen to any Imperial force listening. I engaged Claudius Aurelius, who now possesses Golbez' gem, but the traitor escaped. I fear we have failed."

    Although it could not be seen behind Mariel's helmet, his face had changed into a worried expression for he knew that something like this is bond to end in tragedy, but in the life of an Astartes is there truly any happiness other than seeing your foes at your own mercy?

    But then again in what position was Mariel to disagree with the Master of Assassins himself, lest he becomes a victim of his shadowy plays- as such Mariel nodded.

    "That would be of the upmost help, my Lord. I will ensure that when the time comes to smite the foes of the Imperium, me and my chapter will stand by your side."

    But there was only static, until a telepathic message came through to Zuriel. It was Lapis' mind having extended to his. Now with the sorcerers gone this was actually possible. The two went back and forth quicker than they ever could speak as their minds communed.

    Athenallas' and Uriel's group were just about to breach the bridge which they will do now as the Kill-Team moves to intercept Claudius. Luckily the Sanguine Templars on-board the vessel had cleared the path to the hangar, which also explained how Jacen could get safely and quickly away. The only sign that it actually had been Zuriel's brethren was the way the enemy had been slaughtered. No Ultramarine would be this... Brute. But that was the way of a true Baalian, no matter where one was recruited or grew up, at heart they all hail from Sanguinius' home.

    The group grabbed a drop-pod and Erxandros had no problems locating the coordinates of the last launched drop pod, sending them well underway on catching up with their rogue brother.

    When the Drop Pod crashed down and the group disembarked, they saw the active Webway as well as the Thunderhawk in the colors of Golbez' forces. However, the only sign of life was the rune of Jacen that was inside on amber status.

    The broadcast was well received, but it seemed nobody had the time to respond or react to it. At least Jacen was reunited with the rest of his squad and they could hunt or join Claudius at last. Surely the Ultramarine and his lieutenants were outnumbered, but the squad suffered mutations and wounds, so who knew how the fight would go?

    "I can." The Emperor's Child mused, walking up to Claudius. He had a little first aid pouch which he removed and started to apply balms and injections to him. "That will have to do for now. Also note that it was the only pack I had." Immanuel clarified and the group awaited for Claudius to lead on.

    "Your will alone will guide us." Dephormatus said metaphorically, yet received an approving nod of Azariah Serran. The path ahead was clear of any perils and a long one.

    "Good choice. Now do not worry as we will send our finest men." The Master snipped his fingers and from right above Mariel a Vindicare dropped down who apparently hid somewhere above there. A sealed letter was pulled from the depth of the robes that Vangorich had on him and presented it to the Assassin, along with the letter that Mariel had given him, who simply went underway with it.

    "Now. I suggest you arrange your travels back to The Rock and do whatever you have to do, yes? We will ensure that this Golbez and all of his forces are eradicated."

While the scar might be still hurting from time to time, his overall warp resistance increased. The scar also burns stronger when near Psykers or warp effects [Passive Talent; Grants Lexicanum rank psyker powers to Jacen]

It also allows to block scrapcode attacks against Erxandros at a better rate (Passive & Active Talent)

    Techmarine Expert! - Gain a 2nd universal Mechadendrite & Better chance at hacking, repairs & other Techmarine tasks (Passive Talent)

    For narrative purposes the user can choose whether to knock out or kill. So if during a combat a player wants to only knock an enemy unconscious and the enemy reaches 0 Wounds, he will be merely unconscious for an arbitrary time determined at GMs discretion. Whereas if the player intends to kill, the enemy will die as intended.

    Claudius was disappointed to hear that this was the last medical pack they had at their disposal. This would mean that they would have to execute their actions flawlessly, so as to avoid unnecessary damage. At any rate, there was little time to dwell on that, let alone anything, if they were to make it to Terra in a timely manor, He then looked to his brother Ultramarine and nodded, "And wit your help and that of the others, we shall not be stop or fail. The Imperium will return to its perfect state through the Emperor himself. Now, let's move. Time is of the essence." With that he took off down the long and color path of the Webway, all the while thinking on the trials he was going to face.

    Erxandros shook his head and followed the Iron Hand. Bargov had been partner with him a few times and that Astartes attachment to the Machine Spirits was always strong.

    Roused from his despair by the earth-shaking arrival of another drop-pod Jacen looked out to see the kill-team emerge and Bargov start leading the others towards the Thunderhawk. Descending from the cockpit the Rampager headed for the transport's entrance ramp, intending to met them there.
