Zuriel gave a nod to Jacen, trusting his new found psychic skills to distract the Astartes.

    @KillTeam
The main focus of concern for the Viceroy however was the lascannon, which had the potential to kill an Astartes outright. "Kill Team, the crew members must be eliminated at all costs, that lascannon will not get one shot off!" It was more a statement of fact than order. Jet pack flaring to life, Zuriel barreled into the crewmen, his twin Crozius eagerly seeking out heretics to smite.

OOC: @matt23 Damn, turning on the Chapter that you created, that's cold bro :p I think we'll be seeing some PvP by the end of this mission

Bargov took aim with his heavy bolter, and let the bolts start flying.

Attack: Compact Suppression Heavy Bolter (10) [AOE x 2.5 instead of x 2.0] (Ignores 3 Armor) + Heavy Weapon Artificer (+1 hit) against crewmen.

    OOC: So tired....SO TIRED! BED!!!!

Erxandros shook his head and quickly open the side route around to the flank of his enemies. Upon opening it he open fire with his sealance at an Astartes the one that look to be giving orders.

OOC: Sealance launcher vs Astartea giving orders

Alderson didn't cease fire as so much concentrate his ships nd those of the torpedo boats against the Frigates to give themselves more of a maneuver chance against the enemy ships.

Tul nodded to Erxandros and tapped the Sanguine Angels' pauldron. "Join me, brother!"
He sprinted down the side route, trying to stay as low and fast as possible. When he reached position Tul opened his melta to the nearest enemy, prioritising Chaos Astartes.

"Destroy Lascannon itself, not the crew!" - voxed Bruno as he joined Tul in his flanking manuver, and just as Salamander primed his melta, son of Sanguinius shot two bursts form his bolter, aiming one at the lascannon and another at the crewman operating it.
"Prepare for melee, brother Tul" - Angel Sanguine suggested, seeing Zuriel in the mids of crewmen and Traitors.

OOC: Attack: Bolter, 6 hits ignores 2 armor, split evenly between crewmen and attempt to destroy lascannon. (ugh, i hope i did that right)

"Even if we were to embark now, would we even arrive in time? How many troops do you even expect to be sent? Certainly you have to see that operations like these would require proper planning time for a proper assault." Volquan responded, saddened that Mariel was insisting on his views, rather than establishing higher value, instead merely rambling on with demands.

Nonetheless Juskina decided, after being prompted, to rise. "I share Volquan's fear of a timely fashion... However," She offered a warm smile. "We might be able to garner reinforcements. It would be not much... But considering the position of the theatre of war, we could contact a Rogue Trader who just recently has disembarked in the region. Surely it is not guaranteed to gain aid, but considering it would be in her interest to maintain the area as a secure trading zone and perhaps promising whatever she deems worthy of keeping from the aftermath might be enough to gain her interest."

Udin Macht Udo raised, slamming a fist on the desk. "You are not honestly suggesting to reach out to that Kirschhain (@Casavay [sorry can't resist :3]) witch to aid our war efforts?! Last time she nearly started a war with the entirety of the Eldar species because she found their soulstones pretty! And have you forgotten how she has casual trades with Orks from time to time, while we try to survive them?!"

"I must agree with the Lord Commander, she is too much of a liability, no matter her swift actions and even private army, it is a risk we are not allowed to take. The already chaotic battlefield will become a mayhem once she joins the fight." Lansung chimes in, but finally some support would come for Lady Tull.

"The Rogue Traders definitely owe the Imperium to do their part, and considering how the Imperial Navy and the Imperial military seems to be denied to aid in the elimination of a chaos threat... She should get a chance to prove herself. The Inquisition often worked with Rogue Traders in unique situations together across all arms. I agree with the motion." Wienand, the Inquisitorial Representative said. Followed by "Aye!" from Kubik, Heth, Drakan and even Zeck, the Grand Provost Marshal. As enforcer of the Lex Imperialis, he had to agree that the law was on Juskina's side in this matter.

The rest being undecided, the winner of this matter was clear and all the eyes fell on the visitors - Seelenbrand, Vahn and Mariel. The Imperial Fist turned to his witnesses and plainly asked "Will that do?"

"Admiral Claudius... Am I to understand that you want the Iron Liberator to ram at full-speed the Boiling Blood and sending both vessels into the surface of the world beneath?" The question came as response from the head-pilot of their vessel.

Dephormatus grinned from cheek to cheek in delight that his Brother was seeing the truth and saw the necessity in actions. "I will give the news to the fortress to put the void shield generators of the fortress on full power to withstand the impact. I knew you would see reason, Claudius."

Waiting on some players (mainly @BadDo9 since he has special scout actions available)
  7. Xarxis narrowed his eyes and analyzed the situation in a few mere moments. Straightforward, battle. Hallway. Vents. The Charnel Guard saw the vent entrance and spotted the Devastator near it. His firing pattern was good, saturation of fire and timing. Timing. When the bolts stopped for a moment, the scout was there. (@seabass ) "Brace." he said to the astartes as he lept from the floor to his shoulders and then up to the vents. It was a quick movement to overlook the battle, although he took a moment to check for 'alternate routes'. "Watch out down there." came a quick vox as he dropped a Krak grenade at the lascannon itself and then fired some shots into the crew to keep their focus occupied.

(Krak grenade (3 hits) at the Lascannon, Stalker pistol (4 hits, AP 1, 1 Re-roll) at the crew)

Mariel nodded to Juskina regardless of the other lords, "At least she offered me something that I can work with, unlike the rest of you. Unless you have a proper offer that could move Imperial Guard troops from the over-stuffed gates of Cadia and onto Golbez' location. I take whatever I can get, I thank thee in my Chapter's name, Speaker."

Mariel turned to Seelenbrand with a whisper, "We turn to our only source of help, the plan B."

Seelenbrand whispered back. "Why do you think I had mobilized friends of your friends? Ultramarines, Sanguine Templar, a detachment of the Deathwatch and even Black Templar... I knew the High Lords would not do anything. Kirschhain might be... Radical, but she has a good army. I doubt you can convince for any sort of transport from the rest in this setting. I suggest we end negotiations here on a high note and approach three of the high lords individually. I would suggest you to talk with Lansung. Vahn with Helad and I will see if I can change the Adeptus Mechanicus mind on this matter, considering I am a Master of the Forge. An alternative could be to hail the Inquisition and whether they could lend arms of the Ordo Hereticus. But I personally do not think they would put their fingers under an ongoing operation of the Deathwatch."

The High Lords respected the private conversation and simply awaited the trio's decision.

"As you wish, milord." The Head Pilot responded this time and the Iron Liberator started to move...
