"And if they are here in support of us, then they support the notion that the Emperor's true will must be returned to the forefront of the Imperium's mind. Who is to say that I could not sway them to our cause? Would not the sons of Sanguinius be the hardest to sway in the face of those who have held counsel with chaos?"
@Keidivh @Avenging-Angel @TechCaptain @BadDo9 @Wata @seabass Bruno nodded and followed Brazen Claw, checking his bolter one last time. This mision was his first assignment as a Deathwatch member, but not the first boarding action, so he quickly assumed position to cover Bargov should they meet defenders. OOC: the pleasure is mine
@Keidivh | @Avenging-Angel | @TechCaptain | @seabass | @BadDo9 | @Mohax Tul followed. Eager to reduce all fools who opposed them to ash. "The only worthwile thing about these heretics is how they scream when they burn." OOC: Thanks for the welcome
Black Jewel @Wata | The landing had been relatively uneventful, Marshal Athenallas leading the Crusade-era heroes and a squad of Black Templars in a charge from the hanger. Jacen had taken a look at the newest warriors of their team, remembering the last ones who had joined, before collecting himself and following Bargov and the new pair, power spear and bolt pistol in hand. "Spoken like a true Salamander brother."
@Uriel1339 @Avenging-Angel "May the spirit of Great Angel and Unyielding One be ever with you my brethren, for the glory of our Emperor and his blessed realm." No more time was wasted on words as Zuriel broke into a sprint towards the stairway, knowing that every moment wasted would make their effort all the more likely to fail. @Kill-Team "I assure you son of Vulkan, we shall turn this entire barge into a glorious pyre of destruction. Now let us waste no time, we take the bridge, and give the Emperor's peace to any who stand in our path. For the Progenitors and Emperor!" OOC: Welcome to the Kill Team mates
Erxandros looked at his tactical readouts and started transmitting best paths to each party that landed on the various ships based onbtheir designs. Thanks to Alderson before their launch on the assualts he had the original build plans of the various classes of ships in his readouts. Alderson's connections to the mechanicum were coming in handy. Alderson smiled with bloodthirst that was all his from his assualt marine time. He directed best range shots and directories from the command console on his ship. He relayed all data to those he needed it most. He acted as a data hub for his side. He used the upgrades that the mechanicum let him access to improve firing solutions while letting the variois ship captains listen to the fleet commander for overall strategy.
~~ Orbit of Eldritch - Iron Liberator ~~ @matt23 "So you suggest to reap the Boiling Blood from orbit? Mh.... I am certain Golbez would appreciate such motion. Not to forget, the report of you annihilating the Sanguine Templar might be just enough to send Zuriel, the squad leader of the kill-team on-board the Black Jewel into a frenzy... Perhaps enough to turn onto his own brothers... Do it." Dephormatus laughed, obviously entertained at the thought. ~~ Boarding of Black Jewel ~~ @Keidivh | @Avenging-Angel | @TechCaptain | @seabass | @BadDo9 | @Wata | @Mohax The Deathwatch Marines would notice their vox being scrambled outside of the Battle Barge, but at least they still could see the advance of their Dreadnought-Marshall and the Sanguine Templar and Ultramarines as they continued their assaults. Erxandros was swift on unlocking the doors. After the fifth, just a hallway before the staircase, a heavily fortified position was reached. It was a hub with plasteel barricades and barbed wire. A las cannon mounted on top of the barricade and immediately firing as the door opened, shooting a high-energy beam straight into the chest of Bargov who was a bit too slow to move aside with his heavy equipment. But to his luck, the shot was premature and not fully charged, only leaving a scorch mark in his chest. The tactical experts, Bruno and Tul would know they could - with the help of Erxandros - flank the group from another entrance. It might be risky, but at least the entire group would be able to utilize their weapons in a full all-out attack against them. Unless the group would rather hungry for their own blood and would just run into the fortified position and attempt to take them with brute force. Xarxis on the other hand, clad in scout armor, could probably - with someone's help - get into the vent above and crawl just above the enemies and wreck some havoc amongst them, or drop a grenade on them. Just from a quick glance, besides the Lascannon it seemed there were five Astartes in there and at least a dozen well-equipped crewmen. Lansung replied, before taking a long sip of his water. Giving room for Kubik to respond. "While I appreciate your offer to me, I fear you are approaching the wrong individual. The Explorator Fleets are in many missions to secure worlds long lost in hope to recover STCs, and the fleets which cannot be spent to recover worlds are busy fortifying the forges to maintain production for the increased drafts, new chapters being founded in the face of the growing ork and chaos threats... But the merchant fleets might be someone who could be mobilized." Kubik gestured toward Juskina Tull, Speaker of the Chartist Captains. But before she could speak, Volquan Sark rose from his seat, clearing his throat to garner attention. "To my knowledge the fight is already going well underway to conquer Golbez and his troops. So would you not be much better off actually speaking about what you actually came for? Is it not that Golbez is a mere ... Metaphor for what everyone fears? That corruption has struck deep and thorough into the men of the Imperium. That individuals can raise to power and raise entire armies to build their own little empires within ours. The fight is being handled by your own brothers, so surely our assistance is not needed. Now what is needed is a fresh pair... or in this case two fresh pairs of eyes. What is it you see here, Mariel and Vahn? The High Lords of Terra. As Elite Warriors of the Imperium, as Adeptus Astartes, as Space Marines who do not believe the Emperor to be a god, since it is a sin for you? What do you see in us?" @Uriel1339 Mariel grunted, "Lord Volquan, you do not suggest that a team of a few Astartes take on an entire army and Golbez himself? We cannot take on an entire army without the support of the Imperial Navy, the Imperial Guard and the support of the High Lords of Terra themselves, hence we are here, Lord Volquan." "If I am not mistaken, Lord Kubik suggest that the Juskina Tull speak her mind about the matter.", with a bow Mariel turned to Tull and awaited her say.
@Uriel1339 Claudius nodded as he opened up a private vox to the Iron Liberator's makeshift bridge, "The battle barge, Boiling Blood has been overrun and we need to get planetside. I want this ship to ram full speed into it and continue on to the surface." He looked to Dephormatus, "I need you to stop fire on the Maccrage's Honor and all of the Cruisers for this to work. Once they stop fire I can convince them we hold the two enemy battle barges and give them the element of surprise. Just be advised, my kill team and Uriel are on one of the battle barges." Assuming he would agree with Claudius, once the order to cease fire was give, Claudius would give the same order to the other ships.
Black Jewel Kill-team | "Stand aside brothers." Stepping up to the doorway Jacen took a breath, marshaling his strength, before thrusting his spear, and the hand holding it, forward, arcs of lightning travelling along the spear to leap out at the Traitor position. [OOC: Casting Smite against Traitor Astartes.]
