Mariel grabbed onto the sealance that was shot straight into his chest, grunting in pain. Though this regardless didn't stop him from advancing towards his wounded brothers, his own life seemed to mean nothing to himself while he valued others more. Certainly there was a motive behind these selfless, if not stupid and suicidal actions. Claudius was first in sight, charging towards him as he attempted to stick him with his instrument and inject the healing serum.
Bargov put his missile launcher away, aghast that they were allowing these miserable excuses of soldiers, of astartes, to live after committing the most embarrassing thing for a space marine imaginable. Surrendering, laying their weapons down like a guardsman recruit. It was a new low for traitors. Hopefully, they would try and betray them at some time during the mission. Maybe at the security station they will try to shoot them in the back and bargov can eviscerate them on the spot?

It was a massive device and Erxandros knew instantly that it was an older machine, most likely stolen or 'retrieved' from the age of the Great Crusades. It was a miraculous piece of technology. And yet it was only used for evil, but it also meant that Erxandros could find near infinite information about this world and their situation. He only had to pierce the firewall. Mariel was still suffering from his grievous wounds, as the sealance was still stuck in his chest. However it didn't stop him from working on Claudius' wounds, eyeing their new comrade from the unlikely alliance carefully as he finished his work, grabbing onto the sealance that is still stuck in his chest, grunting in pain and moving up the stairs after the assassin.
