    Vahn making them move to different ends he fires his bolter on the left side and cleaving his sword on the right and continues his murderous onslaught. Dodging and being as graceful as he could to be the Angel of Death that he is.

    Claudius laughed slightly before he moved back in for an attack. This time he swiped his thunderhammer in an upwards and right to left motion, with lethal intent. Though he laughed, he had grown very tired of being accused of treachery and heresy as of late. This true traitor shall be the vent upon which he released his anger. He would then ready his Champion's shield to prepare for the coming attack.

    Erxandros shook his head at the dead men walking as he fired again into the squad that Vahn was attacking. He carefully aimed his shot at the least injured of the bunch to maximum effect.

    Zuriel rolled away from the explosion of the Sentinel, shrugging off the the lasgun fire as if it were a gentle rain, only managing to wear his crimson robes. Without breaking stride the veteran Astartes charged into the midst of the guardsmen, seeking to end their pathetic defense. His own brethren performed admirably, barely taking a scratch as they overwhelmed the servants of Golbaz.

    "This is the fate of those who stand against the Emperors will!" He bellowed over his vox caster, launching himself into the midst of their forces, his seals of office eagerly seeking the blood of the Traitors.

    Spinning slightly to distance himself from the guardsmen Jacen took a breath, a breath that was vastly magnified in his mind's eye, before letting loose a great roar.

    Mariel tended to Jacen with a quick injection that was at the ready, purging any pain and allowing his body to properly close the las-cauterized wound. It would not even leave a mark after a few minutes. However, his Plasma shot was rather cursed when the coil got a las shot and not just apparently failed in emergency cooling, but spat the extreme hot gases into the chest and face area of the Dark Angel. Going through the filters of his helmet, he could feel the burn wounds on his face. Even while it stopped after a few moments, the damage was done. And while the Plasma shot unleashed, due to the face-burn his aim was far off and barely grazed one of Golbez' soldiers. Another problem was that the Plasma Gun seemed to make weird hissing noises and sparked up here and there. Bargov or Erxandros would need to take a look, unless Mariel was going to risk high-volatile shots. At this point he can be lucky that it didn't blow up in his arm and ripped said limb off.

    Zuriel was in the midst of the slaughter, his favorite position in the bloodsport of 'hunt the heretic'. This forced Jacen to focus his powers on a smaller group of the squad with his newly gained powers. The channeling and unleashing of said powers went without consequence, save for the enemy who literally lost their face as the psychic wave ripped it off and left only mere skulls on several heads.

    The group was reduced to five and they made a run for it, as they witnessed how Claudius smashed his hammer into the traitor. The enemy Astartes was still alive but skid across the floor. Once the Ultramarine was approaching him, the Infernus Pistol was drawn in the blink of an eye and shot him right into the Abdomen. The heat may not have melted nor penetrated the armor, but it was hot enough to not just burn, but apparently to some degree boil his flesh within. While it was painful, even for an Astartes, it was nothing compared to the warpfire of Tzeentchs Horrors. And so the Larraman Cells fixed the mere mortal wound to their best degree, leaving (for Astartes proportions) only a minor burn. Calth's Vengeance came swinging down one last time, pulverizing the skull and other pieces of the heretic.

    The group was free to advance.

    Bargov's second volley was even worse than his first, for the enemy that was. While this time the enemy had an idea of how horrendous the weapon was and made for dives and trying to otherwise evade the rapid fire relic, there was little they could do to cheat death. Half of the remaining squad died from the heavy rounds, while the other fell victim to the pillar which had such integral weakness from Bargov's bolter, that it came crushing down, smashing flesh and bones. Satisfied, the machine spirit of the Compact Heavy Bolter released the heat, emit a bit of smoke and glowed in an ember-red. As if the barrel came fresh out of the forge.

    Vahn in the meanwhile had a harder time killing his targets as they kept putting distance between him and themselves. Alas, whenever he went into the killing strike none did move quick enough. One ducked beneath his decapitating strike, but fell victim to his Bolt-shot into the abdomen. Another one managed to stab his bayonet into his side, but it caused no wound to the agile hero. Instead the brave traitor was rewarded with a quick impaling through his heart, followed by a quick twist, causing the corpse to drop to the floor.

    Last but not least Erxandros' careful aim paid off. With a slight angle of a shot of his Sealance launcher he managed to hit a Guardsman who just removed the pin of a grenade. He got pinned to a column, dropped said grenade and blew himself and those who took cover near the pillar into oblivion. There was nobody but the three Astartes alive, after the combat that lasted just shy of a minute. A good survival time for the non-Astartes really.

    And so the group had a brief moment to take a breath and prepare for the next room.

    Mariel let out a pain-filled scream, grabbing his own sizzling and extremely hot helmet as the gas around him continued to burn himself and the air, taking a few steps back and away from the plasma cloud as he simply slid the helmet off, breathing heavily while looking upon the sight of the retreating guardsmen.

    Though it wouldn't be long before Mariel's sensed kicked back into him, stabbing himself in the shoulder with his Narthecium and injecting the healing serum into his lasgun wound that he earned earlier, before switching out his unstable plasma gun for his bolter.

    "57.43 seconds. That is the longest it has taken me to kill a squad of guardsmen damn..." Vahn wondered and popped his neck ready to move on cleaning his blade by flinging the bloody off. "Shall we go brothers?"

    Jacen slowly approached the corpses of those slain by his magic, reaching out to pick up a defleshed skull. He'd felt the power of the warp as it left his body, been able to track its progress across the chamber, but to see its effects was something new, certainly something interesting. Straightening and letting the skull fall from his grip Jacen glanced at the fleeing heretics, lifting his bolt pistol and opening fire.
