It had been some time since he used his badge of office as his weapon, but ever since Jeng had given him this relic he couldn't bring himself to use anything else. It was beautiful, powerful. As if it had a spirit of its own... His thoughts on the matter were interrupted as Mariel and Erxandros began planning how to take down this lieutenant. Savarel encouraged us to assist in planning. Zuriel gave a curt nod as he begin surveying the fortress. It was truly impressive, seemingly unassailable. Course that was disproven rather quickly, the Deathwatch had a tendency of doing that. "I admire your tenacity young brothers. But it must be done quickly. Erxandros, take Vahn and Bargov with you. Do what you do best. But if you get bogged down disengage, the longer we're here, the more likely we will fail." He looked around at his brethren, looking over each of them carefully. "We will not fail." His tone was absolute, he wouldn't accept anything other than absolute success. He wouldn't lose a brother this day. "If there's anything else speak now."
@Keidivh Claudius took a knee near some rubble and listened as he wiped blood off Calth's Vengeance and his Powerfist. Though his opinions differed from that of the group's, it was no longer his place to say otherwise. He stood back up and with his thunderhammer in hand, "And so what does that leave for us?"
@Keidivh Vahns face was it a stern manner, "Old Friend if we do not see one another may the Angel take you to the stars." Vahn approached Zuriel it was like he was a young boy again. He hugged Zuriel. "I know this is not regulation but I don't care." Then release the hug punching Zuriel in the chest. "No dieing on me understand."
@Valonox Zuriel returned his brothers embrace, smiling lightly as he did so. "Ha, come now my brother, you know I don't die easily. And with your luck I know you won't either." The Viceroy chuckled as he slapped Vahn's pauldron. "May the Great Khan guide your strike, and your enemies fall before they know what hit them." He gave a nod to the members of second squad, confident they would get the job done. @matt23 @ItsTime @Avenging-Angel Zuriel paced over to the Ultramarine, he had to admit he was surprised Claudius was handling this as well as he was. Just keep everyone focused on the mission. Any issues can be handled afterwards. He patter Claudius on the back and looked over to Jacen and Mariel. "Well my brother, we have the fun job. Cutting our way to this lieutenant and cordially inviting him to join us on the Iron Liberator. Questions?" With that Zuriel pulled his crimson hood over his head, and with his twin Crozius' in hand made his way towards the royal chamber.
@TechCaptain Mariel grabbed Erxandros by his shoulder-pad, pulling him away from to group as he begun to whisper. "Heed my warning, brother, do not dig deeper than you must into the information banks of this fortress. It is likely they deleted everything by now, but you should still take care when you read anything that comes fourth from their machines.", letting go of Erxandros soon after and rejoining the group. @Keidivh "Time is running low, we must move at once."

Falling in behind Zuriel as the combat squad moved out the Rampager shook his head at Zuriel's question, tightening the grip he had on his bolt pistol. "No questions Zuriel. And Mariel is right. Speed is essential."
"Invite him back, brother? Are you not a chaplain of the Imperium and thereby one who can conduct an investigation and interrogation? The more people who come into contact with the corrupted, the more chance there is of it spreading. We are here because of the curroption that has spread throughout the Imperium and we will hand over the one that can lead us to our target, willingly, to a branch of the Imperium. Regardless of their position or title, we must assume there is a chance of curroption with every person we come into contact with. We do not have to decide this now, Brother Chaplain, but this is something to keep on the mind at all times," Claudius said, trying to warn Zuriel of the possibilities.
@matt23 Zuriel cocked an eyebrow at the Ultramarine champion, clearly amused by his concern. "That I am brother, which is why I'll be taking him under my personal custody. As soon as I have what we need from him, he will know the Emperors peace. I shall not tolerate the presence of a Traitor any longer than he must." Zuriel found it rather amusing Claudius was concerned about his handling of Traitors. There were few chapters who could match the Sanguine Templars sheer rage and hatred towards the Geat Enemy. And this lieutenant was about to experience it. Kill Team Secundus @TechCaptain @Valonox @seabass Zuriel made the sign of the Aquila towards the second team, bowing slightly. "Progenitors guide you my brothers." With that Zuriel began leading kill-team Primus forward, glad to see they were eager for blood. The Thirst within him began to stir with every step he took closer to their goal. OOC: let's see how Zuriels first Deathwatch command goes! *cough*party wipe*cough*
"I do no fear your handling of this whatsoever. It is taking him off this surface that I do not like. You can conduct everything you need here. If the Inquisition hears you possess him, then they may take him from the Iron Liberator before we can grant the Emperor's peace. And allowing him to leave our possession, alive, I believe would be a grave mistake," he said still weary of the plans of what they were to do with the Lieutenant.
@Valonox @TechCaptain Bargov checked his compact heavy bolter, it seemed so small and easier to handle than his old one! Yet it was much more deadly because of it! He then checked his new missile launcher, the weapon seemed the opposite of the heavy bolter in that it seemed larger than a normal launcher. Bargov's ability to carry both of these heavy weapons and the two types of ammo in one pack, (Courtesy of the tech-priests, who bickered about its impracticality, as if he cared.), was a testament to the iron resolve of all Children of Ferrus Manus! "Lets get going! I've got your back, Champion Vahn!"
