Erxandros sighs a bit as he continued the dance with Bargov. He had a thought to change this dance up a little. " Squad Leader, Can you toss me one of my Sealances? And I understand that it may have been lonely as a Kill Marine, I know for a fact that Alderson wished he could be more field than he is anymore. That is one thing he impressed upon his training is to never give up the field if one could help it."
Claudius shook his head at Erxandros, "No. I want to see how you fair with a weapon you know nothing of." He then walked closer to the cage, entered, and set down his hammer Calth's Vengeance. He then exited the cage and looked at Erxandros, "Do not dishonor it."
Erxandros pondered this for a moment then laid aside his weapons of choice and picked up the two handed large hammer. He grunted at the unaccustomed weight, it wasn't any worse than his own heavy weapon but it was an unusual weapon from his training. He repositioned himself and then nodded at Bargov to continue. He swong the massive hammer using its reach to his advantage, trying to not let Bargov to close. But when he did close in, he used the unusual style of using the whole weapon. He used the shaft of the weapon as a weapon itself making it an unbalanced quarterstaff for all intents and purposes.
Bargov charged in, knowing that there really was no point in trying to block a weapon whose sole way of delivering a blow was its sheer weight! Bargov charged forward to try and get under the weapon as Erxandros swung with all his might!

Apparently the Hammer had a high learning curve. He missed his swing and couldn't use the hilt quick enough to block letting Bargov in to close. He took his licking from Bargov's blades and made another attempt with the hammer, trying to gain the proper distance for the weapon.

Erxandros had another surprise up his sleave. So he used his servo arm to speed up his swing of the massive hammer to overcome the inherent flaw of any big melee weapon. Its speed amd arc of excution. Secoondly he used his tendril again to attack Bargov but this time as a spear point. OOC: Hammer attack reinforced using his servo arm and a Tendril Attack.
