"We need to get back to the manafactorums now" as he spoke he did not give their questions any answers "i willl explain all when we get back as id rather tell the inquisitor and our brouthers first"
@Keidivh @lord-watchman "I am brother Regos of the salamander legi- I mean Chapter." Regos said looking to Zuriel while they were on the thunder hawk. As the thunder hawk landed Regos readied his weapons in case of another xeno attack or ambush. It was good to see they found one there missing teammate.
" Then everyone get aboard, and I will get you there, Silva." Alderson already had the bird prepped, now it started lifting off slowly. He wasted very little time.
@Vulpas Zuriel gave an understanding smile to Regos, clearly he wasn't the only one not adjusted to the chapter doctrine, ""Zuriel, Blood Angels Legion, I look forward to fighting alongside you Brother." He then turned back to Silva, giving a somewhat aggravated sigh, "It would be good to know why you took off into the middle of the wastes Brother. But very well, let us head back to base. I hope there was a goo d reason for this Brother Silva"
Vahn looked at Zuriel. "Brother Zuriel he has psyker stuff to do that is what Silva told me so anything that has to deal with the eye must be important." As Vahn strapped back into his seat.
"I always have good reasons, knowlege is power and all" as he spoke silva sat in a seat away from the others "all will be reveiled when we reach the inquisitor"
@Valonox @lord-watchman Zuriel looked a the legionnaire, giving a small chuckle. "Aye, for him to leave I guess it must have been." Zuriel couldn't help but feel uneasy, there were latent psychic energies all over this area. But it was far to faint for him to be able to discern whether it was Silva or not. He looked at the Blood Watchmen and gave a curt nod, "Very well then Brother, let us make haste then." He quickly got back on and awaited for everyone else to get on, before signalling Alderson for take off. He absentmindedly held the pommel of his great sword. There were far to many people acting mysterious and distant. Zuriel had had about enough of it.
~~ Regrouping - Dawn of War Briefing Room ~~ @Colapse | @Valonox | @seabass | @Avenging-Angel | @EvicusDasan1 | @Vulpas | @matt23 | @Keidivh | @lord-watchman | @TechCaptain After returning all their requisitioned items to the Armory (doesn't affect Vahn). The Deathwatch Astartes, the sole survivor Vahn and Dark Angels Captain Sariel met once again with Inquisitor Lucia Kane on the Dawn of War. The Inquisitor and the rest of the group was updated on everything that happened during and short after the Eldar attack, and in return the Inquisitor updated on other attacks that happened in the meanwhile. Two Manufactories were destroyed Two were temporarily captured before the Eldar escaped And the only one that was completely defended successfully was the one under the watch of the Deathwatch Which means 5 in total, most likely each Warlock that Athenallas saw 1 attack. The total enemy numbers are so far to be expected around 10,000, although only up to 2,000 have been seen deployed. However their speed and skill makes them count more like a million Penal Legionnaires, especially since their equipment can take quite some hits. Silva has agreed with the Seer to find the Forge of Vaul in cooperation, which Kane agrees with, however warns to not trust the Alien Baru has been escaped and one squad of Dark Angels is hunting him, local troops have been warned of him. At least 20 Penal Legionnaire companies have been lost along with a total amount of 20,000 combat servitors and skitarii and at least 200 tanks and 2 warhound titans from an unknown source, if witnesses are to believed the titans were both destroyed by a single Eldar. The next deployment seems questionable, however there are some clues which the Inquisitor was just to report on.... "So since we got the information that the Forge apparently causes due to lack of calibrations immense warp energies. So we started scanning for side effects of those, like mutations, headaches, that kind of stuff. And well. We have seen an immense rise of mutants in the wastelands within the reports secured by our dear Techmarine and Librarian. And they all were coming from the same facility, the third biggest city where also on a closer look just recently a new Magos overtook the Main Forges and managed to quadruple his production output." The chart visualizing what she said popped up on the holo-projector. "We assume it is actually much higher but in order to hide the true efficiency of the alien artifact he is using, we assume he used other cities' Maguses by simply sending them undocumented resources which they report as production efficiency increase. Because we have only seen further twice the improvement of production in four manufactories which belong to somehow politically or personally connected to this Magos. However, there is also another target of interest. We believe the Eldar HQ to be within the mountain that Zuriel and Claudius investigated. For some reason the warp activities and most of the scanners just bounce off it, something we only observed before with Wraithbone. So I leave it up to you which you want to go after, be it finding the origin of the Eldar and the possibility of exterminating them or at least know from where they operate, or to find the Forge of Vaul itself amongst a possible traitor." She took a deep breath, having barely inhaled and exhaled as she talked, being satisfied with her summary she actually added nothing else anymore and looked at Tellon. As still-Squad-Leader it was his choice. OOC: You can only do one of the 2 options, no splitting teams.
@seabass Zuriel took a moment to absorb all the information. It was clear that it was this Forge that had caused the Eldars attack. If they could find it and find out what's going on, they'd likely solve the Eldar issue as well. "If I may Brother Tellon, this Forge of Vaul is clearly the root of our problems here. I suggest we go there. Even if we destroyed the Eldar base, we'd likely have to come back for it. It seems far to dangerous to be left unattended."
" Lure the Eldar into a trap using heretics. " Alderson said thoughtfully. " I agree with Zuriel. Forge should be our objective."
