"Disturbed you say." A foreign female voice in his head replied. "But you see, it is not us who do it... This, the ripple of the Warp you feel... The Forge of Vaul has been activated. This, the power you feel, is used amongst your kin. We don't retreat because of your war effort, but the effect of the Forge, we feel the pain that you do right now, just ten times worse. It is being used wrong and thus creates instability in it's core, causing a scramble of the Warp, harming all and everyone who is just in the slightest sensitive to the warp, such as yourself. It is similar of the beacon your Emperor creates, with a slight difference... It is unguided, flowing freely, like a tidal wave of warp energies, overwhelming everyone and everything. That is why we came here, to stop it the misuse of an ancient artifact, before it causes a major warpstorm, another rip in the fabric of reality and allowing the legions of Daemons to gain another world. But you humans did not heed our words a week ago... Now I fear you must feel the consequences at your own hands. For your sake I hope you change your mind, soon. If you decide to aid us, Librarian... Then meet me in the Wastelands." The female telepathic voice added before dissipating, leaving Silva alone in his agony, however during the moment of telepathy he felt the pain numbed and he could sense it was the seer's presence, she actively took a load of his pain upon herself, out of simple mercy and compassion.

"Understood, brother," Claudius said as he went to recover the Warp Spider. He quickly tied up the xeno to ensure that he would not get away. He then tossed the xeno over his shoulder and regrouped on Tellon. "I made no contact, nor heard of any when I was in the ship, but I hope another has had better luck."

"Will Comply, Team Lead. " Alderson headed with the Thunderhawk to Tellon's position. "Sorry, Zuriel. Looks like the Eldar are too much cowards to give you a chance." Alderson position the Thunderhawk in a lower hover near Tellon.

Zuriel grinned at the Techmarine as he stood and brought his chainsword to bear, "There is still time for blood to be shed Brother, I see a dozen Eldar charging to their demise. I intend to meet them!" He gave a vicious looking grin before barreling out of the Thunderhawk, and launching himself towards the Striking Scorpions. He tossed a frag grenade into their midst before smashing into their midst and swinging his Chainsword over his head, attempting to hack as many as he could apart.

OOC: Frag grenade and 2H chainsword against Striking Scorpions.

"Vahn thief and murder. I amy have to go back into the trench and get some better weaponry off the sergeants like a sword rather than this louzy combat knife. appligies lord astartes my instints had a hold of me for a second their" Vahn smiled at the astartes but when he turned was a burned image all of his 'friends' dead he was sole survivor then he looked at the Librarian. "Lord Astartes I am leader less may I take orders from you from here on?" While walking to requisition some new equipment while he was not under fire. Walked over to his company commissar sighed and closed her eyes then picked up her chainsword and her belt making it snug to fit his belt, then scrounged the dead to find more ammo for his lasgun, hoping to find a special weapon/weapons and or grenades for this battle to continue. Vahn did not care for the smell of the dead he faced worse in the sewers of his home-world. In memory of him being the last of his company he took the dog-tags of the Commander and the Commissar, he will tie this around his lasgun grip. Then will return to the Lord librarian Silva hopefully with new equipment.

(OOC: Attempting to acquire more ammo, grenades, weapons, etc to give me a better advantage against the xeno)

"Once you are armed go find my leader his name is tellon, tell him and only him i am folowing the psychic trail of the witch and will send him a mesege when i find them" as he spoke he looked at the boy as he unhooked his helmet from his back and put it back on "i have some hunting to do"

With that he walked away from the penal leginare and walked towards the wasteland 'if you are lying farsear you shal die' as he thought this he wonderd if she would hear and he continued to walk.

Tellon could see Brother Zuriel descending on the striking scorpions. He decided to assist him and the skitarii and penal Legionnaires with a few shots from his bolt pistol.

  8. South ('Right') Side
@seabass | The right flank seemed secure, although the Mechanicum had paid heavily for the victory. Lowering his missile launcher as the vox chimed in his ear Athenallas glanced towards where his drop-pod had come down.
"I engaged a psyker at our landing zone. Her corpse should still be there."

Tellon looked to The right side structure and voxed back, "Show me to the Xeno." With that Tellon proceeded to move South to where Brother Athenallas and Regos had initially landed.

    ~~ The Psychic Hunt ~~
"It would be counterproductive to lie to you. Unlike your stubborn white-crossed friend, it seems you at least listen to some degree with reason, more than just blind hatred. Almost as if your heart is more pure, than you perhaps want it to be. Compassion is not foreign to you, and I believe that is why the safe-lock within your mind exists, yes? The one of your master that you told a certain Warlock with a frozen blade about? But worry not, for once, the Alien you do not want to suffer to live is on your side, Librarian." Her voice was soft and soothing, that of a caring mother. Eventually Silva was at the outskirts of the city, but not in the wasteland just yet, when suddenly a portal, a gate of infinity, opened before him. "Step inside, if you wish to meet me."

OOC: Getting in there will throw you into the Wasteland, the others may need like 10-15 mins narrative time to get to you via Thunderhawk, even though a DA squad could just drop-pod on your location :)

The Deathwatch and Dark Angels regrouped as the Eldar army retreated, no forces available for pursuit. And the ones that Zuriel and Tellon tried to kill were already out of range the moment they came. At least the frag grenade of Zuriel managed to kill one single Eldar on the way out. The Legionnaires started to count their dead and ready them for transport while the Skitarii secured the parameter with reinforcement Servitors scrapping their dead ones. Zorg and the two Mutants that Athenallas had saved were amongst the first to be transported off. Without them, Tellon would be dead now and perhaps the Eldar would have won this battle without their sacrifice.

However, just as the Deathwatch re-united and even Sariel joined them, it was the surprising sight of a lone Penal Legionnaire with Chainsword, Las-Gun and Infernus Pistol. He reported to Tellon upon order of Silva. The Warp Spider started to come back to consciousness, ready for interrogation with his warpjump generator removed and destroyed and his other weapons as well confiscated for inquisitional research. However, there was more as Sariel as well as Tellon just got an update from Inquisitor Kane. "Your prisoner, the Chaplain escaped. He took a Drop-Pod but scrambled the signal. Wherever he is now, we do not know. Footage shows that he even escaped over five minutes ago, thus even making his last known position rather useless."

Just what they needed. First their Librarian runs away without any notice and leaves them with a Penal Legionnaire in his place, and now the chaplain a presumably traitor escaped. Of course not to forget that the Alien was ready for interrogation, even though it was no witch, which was slain without mercy by Athenallas, not to forget the brain of which had apparently melted from whatever reason. Surely only something unnatural would cause such grave damage to a corpse.

A next step had to be figured out soon, surely just waiting another week for an Eldar attack would not be the solution to their problems.
