    "If I may volunteer myself, we do not have many assets to spare here. I could be in the Valkyrie watching over and looking for our target. If I see anything or someone sees our target, then I can use my jump pack and hammer to come in there knockout the target and jump out with the target in hand. It should be very effective if everything goes according to plan."

    "I have a question inquisitor, can we use any orbital forces for fire support from above when the eldar pull back? If we have eyes in orbit it maybe possible to track where they are going and bombard them as they retreat when we force them back." Regos said as he looked at the situation. "I can provide support with our brother going to capture this target." Regos added looking up.

    "The Eldar technology is too advanced to properly track them. Eyes on the ground are far more accurate, I would assume the Eldar planned this attack for quite some while, otherwise they would not attack as tactial and smart as they do. We did not even encounter a single scouting force during the last week. Which means, they already believe they got all intel they need, except for where the Forge of Vaul is, which as you know.... We don't know either." Inquisitor Kane merely replied, basically insinuating that his idea was impossible.

    "As for orbital bombardment. I do not want to waste ammunition with the chance of collateral damage, as well as wasting ammo. We do not know yet if they could be preparing an assault from the void as well, or if they only have ground troops."

    "I would request to hunt the witches as well brother, with our jump packs Claudius and I can strike out the heart of the Eldar with great speed." Zuriel stated excitedly. "We may also be able to perform effective hit and runs against the Elsar task force if granted the opportunity.

    Tellon nodded as both Assault marines volunteered to be on Techmarine Alderson's thunderhawk. "Very well, you two will join Alderson and act as his crew. As you suggest, If you spot a suitable target for capture, vox us and we will clear you an area to apprehend it."

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - Deployment Phase ~~
    With the Ultramarines tactic the troops readied. Sariel promised to aid himself along with the Rancor Squad. However not believing the need to grant access to the first legions Thunderhawks, the Deathwatch was left with the only one they had and the drop pods, leaving the way of deployment quite obvious.

    Alderson, Zuriel and Claudius would be the angels from the heavens to bring doom upon the enemy with the Thunderhawk, having the Main Dorsal Cannon and the Twin-linked Heavy Bolters at their disposal. However, they would be the only bird in the sky and if the enemy could get anti-air weapons deployed there would be problems.

    Tellon decided it was best to not mix the Black Templar and the Psyker in the same group and thus were separated for the left and right side, while he would have to lead the combat from the center force along with Zorg's men. It was from where he could make adjustments the easiest.

    The left flank would be led by Silva and Farith. The right flank by Athenallas and Regos. Each of them would meet fifty Skitarii and two-hundred penal legionnaires near their deployment zone, armed with different weapons. It was all they could give up in order to not let the main line fall apart. But it was an investment required to give this fight hope. Sariel would remain on the Dawn of War until it was his time to deploy behind the enemy at his discretion, overwatching the combat along with Inquisitor Kane.

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - DW Thunderhawk~~
    @TechCaptain | @matt23 | @Keidivh

    The Thunderhawk was loaded up and the three Deathwatch Marines were alone in the mighty vessel. Today they would not be accompanied by Skitarii, not even combat servitors, today the flight and the air superiority depended on the Deathwatch alone. It would be even more interesting as they were not the first to enter the firefight as they required a few minutes to make it to orbit and close enough to engage their weapons, while the other Astartes deployed via Drop-pod before even the Thunderhawk launched. This hawk was the ace up their sleeves and by the Emperor they better would plan well ahead what their true goal was, else they would trash their second and last Thunderhawk like the first one.

    OOC: You may emote your approaching vector, but you won't be in attacking-range until I say so :)

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - North ('Left') Side ~~
    @lord-watchman | @EvicusDasan1

    The Drop-Pod crashed down violently in an empty plaza. Immediately the two Angels of Death were contacted by the local forces over vox. "Good thing you came! We are in position and the enemy convoy is just about to reach ideal position, do you wish us to engage or wait for you? They are almost in firing range for Zorg's forces!" A local roared, the voice being humane was suggesting that they would deal with a Penalty Legionnaire leader on this side.

    OOC: You may arrive in the building where your allies hold out and be next to them and give them orders, as well as and/or attack the enemy yourselves.

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - South ('Right') Side ~~
    @Avenging-Angel | @Vulpas

    Where the drop-pod of Silva and Farith landed with high precision, Athenallas and Regos were met with less luck and landed far off. Half a kilometer further south than intended they had crashed through a small building before the Drop-pod opened it's hatches, and even then Athenallas had to give it a hard kick to make enough space to let them leave. But perhaps it was a blessing in disguise? The vox-crackled shortly but was apparently malfunctioning, or jammed. With a quick assessment nearby and checking the exact damage they caused, Athenallas simply had the gut-feeling that something would go down in the nearby area, it was a similar sensation when Tellon had his 'incident' with explosives. However, troops were waiting and would the two of them delay, who knows if their tactic would work out.

    OOC: You may split-up further if you like, i.e. Athenallas going to the bottom of this 'gut-feeling' and Regos hurrying the f@#k up to get to the men awaiting orders.

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - West ('Center' force) Side ~~
    @seabass

    Tellon's drop was again more precises as the drop pod was magnetically guided on an impact platform, basically an apparatus similar to a lightning rod, just that it was supposed to capture huge metallic objects in order to prevent harm to other areas, it was a half-sphere with a strong emitter in the center. Short before impact the magnetic power was even strong enough to slow down the drop-pod in such way that it remained unharmed and Tellon could simply exit his vessel and approach Zorg who had the frontline rowed up against the enemy, who was just about to be in firing range, judging that they came into sight.

    "We only have mere seconds. The troops have been arranged as you ordered and are awaiting your Astartes' orders. We have done all we could with our fortifications, but since we had to relay our troops for your plan, I am not sure how long we will be able to hold out. And reinforcements from the nearest outpost are not coming until roughly forty-five minutes. We are on our own here, Force Commander Tellon." Zorg replied straight-forward, not having time nor patience for pleasant greetings when a war was to be fought, formalities could be kept on for banquets.

    Among the soldiers behind the Alpha Skitarii, Tellon recognized two weird-looking combat servitors, he recognized them from those that Athenallas had with him when he returned from the Wasteland. They still looked freakish, but at least more like the others in proper armor and weapons. Focusing once more, the Apothecary could see that there were indeed less than a minute left before the massacre would start, the question however was.... For whom would it be a massacre? The Eldar, or the Imperium? This was just the first of many significant battles and it could shape the entire future of Barnassus, and thus the rest of a hundred worlds nearby who rely on the manufactured goods of this world, and all it's weight rested on Farazdov of the Dark Angels.

    OOC: Feel free to give orders for an attack and for yourself to attack as well. Only your Plasma Gun really has the range to hit 'em tho!

    ~~ Barnassus Campaign - Battle of Ladimur - Standby / North ('Rear') Side ~~
    @Colapse

    "I assume you will hold your oh-so-generously-offered-single-squad in reserve for when the moment is right, yes? Because I came to save your shiny Astartes-butts from Turm IV so you can aid us here, in a much more important deployment. I care little for your brotherhood feuds, whatever is going on with you, Farith and Tellon. But I need to know that I can rely on your men. As fortified as this Forge World may be, it was obviously not made to be attacked at multiple points at once, in fact I doubt anyone ever had expected any enemy to make a landing like this without being noticed. So your Dark Angels which appear to be quite well-trained in urban warfare can, and most likely will be, a key element in this operation. I trust for the sake of the Imperium you will do your duty as a Captain and not let us all go to hell because the two Astartes of your brotherhood don't do as you tell them. Yes?" Lucia inquired as she stood next to Sariel, her arms crossed and her eyes being only on the holo-desk and it's tactical projections in front of them. There was nobody else in the room which meant they could openly discuss without politic-talks and unnecessary politeness, as the language of the Inquisitor already implied.
