Silva walked along to his brother techmarine and spoke again in the vox "well i learnt nothing but do you mind if i tag along" ( @TechCaptain )
@Uriel1339 Tellon signed within his own mind he was always uncomfortable with how his brothers would react when he had to decide between his chapter and the Deathwatch, "While I do appreciate the offer you have proposed to me. I must decline on the weight of the Oath I made to the Deathwatch. I will always assist my Brothers when they need me, but I cannot abandon my Oath on a whim without causing mistrust between the Sons of the Lion and the Ordo Xenos." OOC: Not going to take Sariel up on his offer, Tellon does NOT abandon his responsibilities.
Zuriel gave a curt nod as he looked over Claudius' jump pack. He was always surprised to see the condition other Astartes Chapters kept their equipment. Only the Salamanders ever seemed to have flawless weaponry and armor, something even the Blood Angels struggle to attain. "Aye, my thoughts exactly brother. We'll be able to scout more of the terrain this way. Progenitor be with you Brother." He said before beginning his ascent up this enormous mountain. As he began his trek up the mountain, Zuriel let out a deep sigh. His time in the Deathwatch had so far been... Trying, to say the least. Claudius, while decent at times, had still slandered his Legion. Farith was a near mute. Even Tellon, who Zuriel got along with best, was at best disinterested in holding a conversation. He longed for the familiar surroundings of his own brotherhood again. But such concerns wouldn't interfere to his duty to his Emperor and Father, and with that though he pushed forward. OOC: I shall be king of the mountain!!
"So instead you choose those that are not even related to you. I am not sure whether that is heroic, or stupid. The oath to the Deathwatch is to serve them, and it was their agenda to recruit us, the Dark Angels in their name. I hope you are aware I only came and brought whatever survived because you came personally to ask me, Tellon? I am not forced to be here, neither are my men. We belong to the Rock. And not once did that Inquisitwhore Kane thank me or my troops once properly for having come to her aid. We let you borrow our Thunderhawks, Drop-Pods, even got some tanks loaded up, for the Deathwatch? No no no. I did that for you Tellon. I hoped to trust you, but I see now, that you are blinded by the Inquisition's so noble goals. After all, why do you think we are here to find this ominous Forge of Vaul? Certainly not to destroy it. And unless you change your mind to serve in this campaign as a proper Dark Angel... Get out of my sight." OOC: Achievement Unlocked: Using 'Inquisitwhore' in an RP! Thank you for this char @Colapse to make this possible. OOC #2: Tellon can no longer participate in bodyguard (totally not spy) Sariel, nor can he train with the Dark Angels. Tellon may elect one of the following options: - Join DA as a proper Dark Angel to redeem himself in Sariel's eyes. - Deploy to help someone else currently on the surface - Talk to Kane about this.... 'Mess' - Solo Plasma-Gun training on the range
@Uriel1339 Tellon's eye twitched abit as Sariel berated him, spat in his face, and used recent events to try and guilt him into submission. His eye never twitched like that, he now knew what it was like when Brother Zuriel was being insulted. He kept his fury within, and simply did not speak further on the matter. He decided to go scouting out the area, specifically, the area that Athenallas had wandered off to. He hasn't heard from the Black Templar in quite awhile. Action: Assist Athenallas with his little "Pissed off Skitarii" problem. OOC: Weighed my options here and decided to comment on some of the choices. - Join DA as a proper Dark Angel to redeem himself in Sariel's eyes. Nope, You insult me. I leave you to do this shit yourself. - Deploy to help someone else currently on the surface Athenallas can use some help. - Talk to Kane about this.... 'Mess' "WAH! AUNTIE KANE! SARIEL IS BEING MEAN TO ME!" - Solo Plasma-Gun training on the range "I'm gonna go have my own training! With blackjack and Hookers!"
"Be aware of the Inquisition. They do not honor our brotherhood, nor do they understand it. It is best you remember your allegiances, before you regret it." Sariel said as he watched Tellon leave, he looked over to Farith (@EvicusDasan1 ). "What about you Farith Ormand? Do you trust the Deathwatch more than your own Brotherhood? If I would give you the choice between serving here as a Dark Angel versus the Inquisition, would you choose as Tellon? Or are you actually smarter than your combat skills have shown so far?"
"Brother Silva, (@lord-watchman) You can assist. We have two options, I crack into this file or get the Fabicator-Marshall to assist but he may be behind why its encrypted in the first place and that shows our hand." Alderson ponders for a bit and continues with his work on the coginator. Before exiting it he leaves a little program to send messages to the coginator on the inquisitors ship with info dumps on the leadership and any reference to Forge of Vaul. He encoded it to transmit as part of background static and for it to weave its way into all the databases it could invisibly.
Urban Hunting After being rescued from the skitarii and whilst recuperating in one of their homes Athenallas considered his options. Barnassus was a Forge-world, beholden to Terra only by their belief that the Emperor was their Omnisiah, and it would be counterproductive to upset the planet's status quo when it was under immediate threat. Similarly he expected the Inquisitor, being of the Ordo Xenos, would be stonewalled in any investigation he asked her to undertake, even if she was the sister of a high-ranking tech-priest. The reactions of the servitors aboard the Titan now made sense and it was likely, based on the Fabricator-Marshal's reaction when he asked for the pair to be repaired, that all the tech-priests and their skitarii servants shared the same feeling. No help could be expected from them. Rising to his feet Athenallas curtly thanked the humans and left the cramped space, now keeping an eye out for both eldar and the Mechanicum. [OOC: Continuing to hunt for eldar.]
@Uriel1339 "I do not appreciate the insult to my combat prowess brother. It would be best to not berate me." Farith said sternly. "However my loyalty is always first and foremost to the Lion. Never shall anyone question my loyalty, not a chaplain, nor yourself." Ormand seemed to grow in anger at the insinuation that he was not a loyal son of Caliban.
"Then. Will you join us in this campaign as a true child of Caliban? And serve at my side, with the 5th, not the Deathwatch? And it's funny how you mention a chaplain. Almost as if you knew about Baru's secret." Sariel smirked and crossed his arms slowly. OOC: Choose your allegiance! Deathwatch.... Or Dark Angel - dun dun duuun! (Same limitations/effects as for Sariel)
