Switching to his bolter Farith opened fire on the warboss as well hoping the combined might of three astartes would end the beasts life
~~ Defense of Forge World Barnassus - Tank Hunter, Hunter~~ @Avenging-Angel One Shadow Spectre rose his rifle, only to get it bashed aside by a massive Boarding Shield. The Eldar's armor absorbed the impact as he skid across the floor. Another did bash Athenallas in the back, but the Power Armor let him feel little more than a sting. The Black Templar swung around, but instead of delivering his shield, he shot right into the eye lens of an Eldar, having found some sort of weak spot. The Tank hunter was massively bleeding out of his eye, but still clung to his weapon and lived on for now. Before the Templar could execute the vile xenos, two Prism shots hit him dead on, synchronized. Causing a very precise hole in his right chest and burning his skin and upper layers of flesh. Would it be anything less than Power Armor, he would be probably dead. ~~ Defense of Forge World Barnassus - Thunderhawk ~~ @TechCaptain & @Vulpas Alderson saw nothing of danger to the Thunderhawk as luckily Athenallas kept the Tank hunters with their las-cannon like weapons occupied and the enemy had apparent no other anti-air weaponry to offer. The Skitarii on-board mowed down a line of Eldar, just before Alderson allowed Regos to fire with the mighty Dorsal Cannon. The Salamander did down the falcon tank he was aiming on, however. This time the shot went straight through it and detonated behind the initial target - in the center of the bridge the fighting was going on. The shot and the following explosion was so massive that the entire bridge started to fall apart, causing a massive gap and forcing the fight to stop. However, three of the Leman Russ Tanks were too close and fell down in the hole, while Penalty Legionnaires either were blown into pieces or fell as well into the hole. At least the Eldar fared no better as a good chunk of their remaining troops also had fallen into the hole, only to perish from the fireballs the Leman Russ Tanks created as they landed on top of one another, their force smashing and detonating their fuel system and ammunition. However.... The Eldar did not back off and instead started to make a run for the left bridge, closer to the Manufactorum. They definitely had speed on their side as they appeared to be by far more agile than the Skitarii and human soldiers... ~~ Defense of Forge World Barnassus - Manufactorum ~~ @lord-watchman The Warlock distracted the Librarian enough in order to heal himself with basic Biomancy and extinguish the heat that harmed him so much. But the focus also required to let go of the Watchman who managed to free himself from his mind cage and created an even more grand warrior. Narsumyr was smarter than challenge such construct and let both souls to return back to the physical world. "While you... Entertain me, human being. Your friends are dying outside. You would be better off joining them, else you will be the last man standing, only to be mowed down by an army of aliens superior to yourself. But he was much faster than one would think of his size, perhaps the massive amount of bionics did that for him. It mattered little for Zuriel as he tried to evade the incoming blow but was struck by a hammer straight across his chest, sent skidding around again, like earlier on the Baneblade - Just that this time his Power Armor was compromised by shedding apart in the center part. "NAU U! ULTRA-GIT! TO DEATH WIZ GIRLYMAN AND 'IZ COOKBOOK!" He charged forward with an overhead swing, crushing the Combat shield completely and somewhat the wrist that held the now fracture metal piece, as Claudius held it with all of his might, only to suddenly see a follow-up of an Ork to uppercut him with his massive powah-klaw-fist, breaking his jaw to a good chunk and causing him to 'land' next to Zuriel. The Waaghboss turned around only to be shot at. Tellon and Farith shot with controlled bursts into the Ork who now took his attention to them. His forcefield absorbed most of the Bolt-Shots, but Farith managed to penetrate it with his last shot of the clip and slow the Ork a bit down as he primed it in one of the bionic eyes of him. Zuriel launched forwards with his Jump Pack to cut the Alien apart in a fly-by move, but he could only scratch him as he way overshot with his Jump Pack. The Greenskin, or well.... Mostly silver-skin could only gaze to the origin of the Astartes to see Claudius standing once more tall and prideful. With Combat Shield shed, he fired with his Bolt Pistol two rounds before engaging, shooting the Alien in the other eye and blinding him. Two more shots came out of the pistol, each into one of the two kneecaps of the Ork, forcing him to drop as they shattered. Without haste, the Ultramarine engaged his Jump Pack to descend next to the Ork, and as he landed cut with his Chainsword through the massive neck of the Ork, decapitating him and ending his reign. The other Orks still continued to fight interestingly enough. Though Sariel and his men had the situation completely under control... The Kill-Team knew that the 'Baneblade'-Bomb was to blow at any moment. OOC: Claudius & Zuriel suffered extreme enough damage to have permanent armor loss until their armor can be fixed (AKA on the Dawn of War), also you can expect that you will get certain advantages (better chances for honors at the end of the campaign!) for killing Faahrus Waaghnus, as I intended actually to make him escape next turn but hey you actually managed to kill him, didn't think that would work out, but lady luck was on your side (darn Claudius and his double crit on the bolt pistol ^^, I also gave him the kill because he did most damage in the final turn) Also gratz to @Keidivh for surviving his first casual RP Boss with exactly 1 Wound Level (HP) left. Alderson banks again to make another pass laughing. He took off his helmet and place it beside him. His face a huge grin of enjoying flight. So though his desires for tech has started to come to fruition, his element was the air. The Thunderhawk was a lumbering form of an aircraft but in his hands it flew as graceful as imperial equipment can. The skies were his and he ruled with an iron fist as his gunners rained destruction on the Eldar.
Zuriel struggled to stand after the duel with Faahrus Waaaghnus. The machine spirit of his armor writhed in agony, and his advanced physiology struggled to keep him alive as his chest was nearly rent open. He looked over to the Ultramarine who had managed to finish the fight. So, the child of Ultramar has some fight in him after all? He was about to actually congratulate Claudius, when a realization hit him. "Brothers! The bomb is about to detonate, we must move!" (@EvicusDasan1 @seabass @matt23 ) Zuriel yelled frantically as he pushed himself up with his chainsword, blood trailing down his mouth and chest. "Sariel must pull his men back now!" OOC: OMG I'M ALIVE!?!? Was really not expecting that going in with that little health! But 1 hit? lol not Zuriel's finest attack... Ah well, plenty more final hits to come for him
(@Keidivh )(@matt23 )(@EvicusDasan1 ) As Zuriel and Claudius flew back to Tellon and Farith's position, Tellon immediately prepared to treat the major wounds that both Assault Marines sustained. As they landed Tellon spoke, "You all should be proud of what you just pulled off! I've known entire squads to fall to an ork that size, but you three put that beast down like the animal it is!" He began operating first on Zuriel, who was in the worst shape. His armor was compromised to the point where the Tech-Priests would be required to fully repair it. His Readout was not good, He was definitely close to death. Action: +2 WL for Zuriel. OOC: So Claudius got the final kill eh? Well no reason that Zuriel shouldn't be getting credit for going in melee against that waaaghboss.
Squad #2 - Fortifactors Roaring in pain after being struck by the eldar weapons-fire Athenallas did something either very smart or very stupid. Grabbing his missile launcher and loading a concussion missile the Black Templar targeted the building itself, trusting in his power armour to keep him alive in the aftermath of the missile's detonation. [OOC: Concussion Missile (25 hits vs buildings) against the building. Edited. If Athenallas dies he taking the eldar down with him!]

"My thanks brother, without your skill I would be with the Emperor now." He looked back over to the Baneblade, concern still obvious on his face, "Is everyone outside of the blast radius?"
OOC: @seabass i got a few cuts on him! But Zuriel had his moments of glory between the Lootas, bombardment, and planting the bomb! Someone else deserved the execute!
