"I intended to surprise you and let you think to have the upper-hand, when in reality, you had it all foreseen. At least I did not lose my entire focus, like some others." The Ithakian chuckled, eyeing the Ultramarine who was carried off to a bench. "I concur with your thinking, although I must say you will be a fine diplomat and orator, being capable of being this convincing in your act. And your attacks did not fall short either. A good and clean fight, Brother-Lion!" He exclaimed, hitting his chest with his free fist, a warrior's salute. Ventuswill the Doom Eagle and Pozadan the Soul Drinker both clapped at the changes of tides, and that both of the brothers in the cage valued honor and respect over total victory. It meant a lot as an Astartes to let combats conclude in technical draws and come to an end where brotherhood would only grow further from that point onward.

"Maybe you are right Brother, however I think those oratory skills might prove to be quite lackluster here, as I don't really believe all these aliens we have to kill will be easily persuaded to lay down their arms and die," Sariel joked. "So many different Chapters represented by twice as many different Battle-Brothers," Dark Angel nodded as he watched around them at those present at the cages, "I don't think it ever happened before. We fought together in the Crusade aye, but rarely so many different Legions at one spot...I hope this new organization will prove to be fit for the responsibility given to it, and if not, I know I won't stand by and watch it idly."

The Ronin commented, feeling indifferent about the situation overall. Skill and Personality were equally important. The Way of the Blade taught the balance and relation very deeply. Maxis responded, with a slight roll of his eye, behind his helmet - but his head motion suggested that he was doing this. "I wonder when we finally will be designated in teams." "I believe that is entirely up to us, as we are the body of this organization. We will make it work or break." The Ithakian shrugged slightly, not that it didn't matter to him, but more in a way that whatever will be, will be. "One thing I wonder though...." The Ithakian looked toward where the Captains/Ceremony Hall was. "Why did the Salamanders give a Chief Apothecary up? They had some of the most losses across the Battles of the last century. Alas, I know better than to walk around and spy. That is Raven Guard work." He laughed soft.
"Well brother that is not what i am here for" as he spoke he turned and stood opersite the ronin "my goal is to learn the blade styles of the other chapters and pass the knowlege back to the other watchmen" as he spoke he removed his helm revealing a shaved head but his eyes seamed to draw atention more than that his left eye was compleatly white while the right was black "it is part of my chapters atempt to distance ourselves from our gene brothers and to corect the mistakes we have comited in recent years"
Dantus found himself somewhat surprised a son of the Khan was turning away from possible adventure, then again Arslan had seemed a level enough head thus far. There was a subtle nod of thanks toward the Steel Predator, Angel appreciating not being the only one to stand aside on the matter. Isolation tended to leave his tongue desiccated and throat tight, too much time alone left only another voice to chat with and it was never a polite affair.

He was only trained in the most basic handweapons, an Imperial Fist officer judging him worth more as a heavy weapons operator, and the sheer range of swords, axes, spears and others fascinated him.

Perhaps you could help Brother...?" The way Athenallas finished talking made it clear he was being inquisitive, fishing for information.
