<GM> May very well assume so! Also, I may assume your character lies or is just irritated. You guys are still ~8 minutes in past versus when the adepts were fully extracted. <Magos> "Glad to hear that somebody at least cares about humanity and not just results. The code is 2-5-1-9-0-4-3-2-2-2-9-6-0-1-1-0-8-4-1." <GM> After entering the code and retrieving weapons, is when Team Rollo arrived at the other Lab and found the Adepts.
<GM> You should have posted similar to MetalDog! <Narrative - Team Khereph> A Las-Cannon similar weapon, perhaps more an Autocannon really. It looked more than bulky, was heavy just from looking at it and had two awkward canisters with green liquids inserted on the lower side, along the 'barrel'. Though considering the Deathwatch Knowledge, this might be very well an imitation of a Tyranid Venom Cannon, known to eat through vehicles and power armor alike. <GM> Weapon Stats: Venom Cannon - Heavy - 100m S/–/– 3d10+5 I Penetration: 6 Clip: 6 (3 per canister) Reload: - Traits: Blast (6), Toxic (1d10), Unwieldy, Experimental (could have other, yet unknown effects) Furthermore, I do not do weight restrictions yet because I should have bat an eye on them even during armoury phase, so for now you just can run around with whatever you want, but from next mission on I imply weight limitations. Other Info: - Team Rollo has now freed the Adepts out of their labs and started walking to the landing pad -
<Rollo> Seeing the possible Tyranid trap, Rollo used his vox to try and contact the Magos in charge of this facility. "Lord Magos, I strongly advise rearranging the troops defending to focus their effort on the southern approach to the base for I believe the main alien attack will come from that side." After making sure the message is received, the Long Fang began hurrying towards the main lab alongside his Blood Angel comrade.
<GM> For Rollo an Ordinary Command test. But because Command is not trained, you get 20 (1/2 of Fel) + 10 (Ordinary). So to succeed must have 30 or lower.... 77... 4 degrees of failure, lol. <Narrative - Team Rollo / Magos> "Negative. We only have few fighting capable Servitors and they will stay here at the main terminal until the data is extracted. Furthermore, there is little to nothing going on at the southern walls. So cease the interruptions and stop distracting me, doing my duty." He was obviously annoyed, if not even angered. Either way, he closed his vox-channel to the Deathwatch. <GM> Nobody can contact the Magos via Vox anymore. Also Team-Rollo requires 10 minutes to reach the main terminal, while the Long Fang and Assault are moving, I will wait for Team Khereph what to do with the weapon and where and how to move next. (Team Khereph is still 7 minutes away from Team Rollo; timeline wise)
<Caius> The Techmarine steps forward towards the new weapon, partially in reverence towards the designers. New weapons in the Imperium were as rare as a Commissar who refused to shoot his own soldiers. "Before we can use this Brothers, I must ensure that the machine spirits are properly satisfied so that we may use this weapon to deliver the Emperor's justice upon these filthy xenos."
Khereph was surprised at the weapon with both it's odd appearance and it's suspected function, yet that soon gave way to thinking who would be better choice to carrying... which had now already been decided by Caius. So he spoke to his team "Once Caius has done what he needs to do, we shall move onto the main terminal and meet up with Rollo and Zacharius." He decided to make sure there was nothing else that was either of use to the team or a threat to the, in the room by Searching it.
<Caius> While the Apothecary is searching the room, the Techmarine pours over the weapon. A chant in a mixture of binary and high gothic can be heard as he examines it. When he is finished, he turns to his squad mates and exclaims: "Emperor and Omnissiah be praised, this weapon is ready for combat Brothers. Shall we meet up with our squad mates? I believe the Devastator would be the best option to wield this weapon."
<Narrative - Team Khereph> The Lab itself seemed much more a storage facility than a laboratory as it was emptied but for the weapons containment. Though dust stains and such revealed to Khereph that other devices were mounted here before, most likely removed very recently. Perhaps equipment that was gotten off the planet the moment Tyranids were spotted here. Ten minutes later, the team has arrived with the heavy weapon at the Main Terminal. Team Rollo was left with three minutes until their arrival, so it was up to Khereph and the others to find out the current status and situation, after the Magos had ceased the Vox communication. Though it was obvious that the facility was soon going to be overrun as the shots came closer and closer, the security picters that fed their data on some corners of the terminal revealed they were just a mere minute away from East and West, considering left ammo in the automatic defenses and the movement speed of the Tyranids. Two minutes before Rollo and Zacharias would arrive... The Magos was wildly typing and moving slates in and out of the huge terminal, speaking in Lingua Technis to the machines, Caius easily understanding that he desired the blessing of the Omnissiah to have the data faster extracted than the standard was. <GM> I assume you did hurry again. Fight is soon upon us. You have basically 2 half actions or 1 full action before the enemy arrives. Rollo and Zacharias won't run into enemies, because they come from south. You know now for sure that there are enemies east and west, and that reinforcements WILL come from south. Keep in mind. The fight to the Landing pad will be 1 kilometer from the main terminal.
