<GM> Yeah reminds me strongly of our first Deathwatch, eh? I just hope not to see Melta Charges mounted on Power Axes or so this time! And considering that they are already to move out, I move them first. Don't forget about squad & solo mode stuff. Although I rather would suggest to stay away from it, because I think it would be overkill for me until I understand even the basics... Lol. Furthermore I put you in <Team Khereph> and <Team Rollo> to make it easier visible for you what is going on where. <Narrative - Team Rollo> It would be obvious that the team already would split from the courtyard as the Devastator and Assault Marine would have to move through another hallway to reach their designated labs, or at least to reach them the fastest. Their arrival time in regular speed would be ten minutes and if sprinting they perhaps could manage in five. If they would choose to move with Team Khereph, their required time would double. <Narrative - Team Khereph> With the Apothecary leading the team, it would take not more than a minute if hurried to reach their destination, the experimental weapons lab. If more casual and careful approached around three minutes. <Narrative - Watch Station Myruh> The Tyranids were attacking the facility but automatic Tarantulas were holding them for now at bay, but no personnel would be spotted within or out of the facility, considering the task and resources to this planet, the only people would be the Magos and his Adepts, perhaps also unimportant mono-task servitors who would keep facilities clean and without obstacles, but the fight would rest on the shoulders of the Deathwatch the moment the defensive would break.
Watchman> Well you never said no to the axe straped with melta bombs (was having a crazy day) Zacarius> "Brother i belive if we run we will get their faster" as he spoke he flexed his arms "how about a freindly compertition on how many kills we get"
<Colapse> Not sure what running will do to us, will it give fatigue and what's that, but I agree - we tried walking, lets try running! <Team Rollo> The Space Wolf grunted, moving fast in his gear always proved to be troublesome but he wasn't about to show any weakness to this Blood Angel. "Alright, lets charge towards the lab! And I take your bet - the one who kills more Xenos by the end of the mission buys the drinks next time we are in some space station!"
<GM> Regards the 'buy drinks' comment - Astartes have no concept of money. Chapter Homeworlds for example don't even pay taxes or have any income. They get their stuff from the Imperium (like weapons and such) from the Munitorum. And Space Wolves for example make their alcohol from nature. Also I just noticed. Team Rollo would need only around 8 minutes on casual speed. Also you can hurry AND run. Hurry is not so dramatic as run, so it's faster than regular speed, but not as fast as run. Team Khereph needs only ~2 minutes to reach their lab on regular speed. But if you hurry, you have lowered awareness (-10) and you must take a Toughness Test or 1 level of Fatigue at the end of hurrying hours equal to your toughness. You can even push on with penalties, etc. but you get more and more penalties the further you push. If you run, you can do this for 1 hour, but you triple your movement. You must take a Toughness Test after that hour and get a cumulative -10 penalty per hour after the first, to keep the speed up (if you want to keep it up). If you fail a test, you get 1 level of Fatigue. Also -20 Awareness. You can keep running even if you fail a test, but multiple fails are cumulative. You may look in the core rulebook on page 206 in PDF viewer to read all that stuff yourself.
<Colapse> I know, it's just a figure of speech...which I most distinctively remember reading somewhere in some book, and I think it's actually the Space Wolf Omnibus, so yeah. In any case, if Watchman agrees, I think hurry is the right way to go.
<MetalDog> I have the auger array for Awareness tests don't forget GM. I will move at whatever speed the rest of my team is moving.
<Team Khereph> "We should almost be there brothers." Maverick said as he remained at the speeds of his brothers <Vulpas> Maintaining speed
<GM> No action from you needed Fox, was waiting on Angles decision if to move normal or hurry, since he made no call yet. But for sake of continuing, I will assume he also go on 'hurry'. Will do next turn soon or after dinner.
