Death Watch Station Myruh Located in the Segmentum Obscurus, not too far of Outrenacht and not too close to Cypra Mundi, watching all activity surrounding its own sector. In orbit and planetary. The orbital station of Myruh is an automated facility, warning of potential danger, that the territory belongs to the Ordo Xenos, a part of the Holy Inquisition led from Terra, and that unauthorized trespassing will result in death. Furthermore it serves as long-range communication point and resupply station for Inquisition vessels. The planetary, rather small base, more of an outpost, is led by a Magos who dedicated himself to the Inquisition and in research of local fauna and flora that may ultimately aid in fighting the enemies of the Imperium. The world is a jungle world filled with creatures that are not truly dangerous, but rather interesting, due to their variety and different sorts of toxins and poisons. It was a regular reconnaissance mission for samples, when the contact with servitors broke off. A single servo-skull with implemented picter soon gave the answer of what had happened... Magos Jax Hegen was irritated of how it could be that they were here. No vessel would be capable of sneaking beyond the stations ever watching eyes and when the world was 'colonized', it was fully scanned. Nonetheless quickly a message was sent to the Ordo Xenos and within twenty-four hours an Inquisitor himself came to investigate and confirm the reports. Within the same hour, a message for reinforcements in a form of a Kill-Team was sent. All five Deathwatch Astartes had just finished their special Deathwatch training in reading, indoctrination and handling weapons beyond their regular chapter duties. They learned all the theory behind of what they were to face, who they could face and how to handle them. The Apothecary had learned about flaws of his brethren gene-seed and also some of the culture, so he would understand if a Space Wolf would refuse his treatment. But also he learned of the even higher than usual importance of recovering gene-seed within the Deathwatch. The Techmarine learned of some basics of Xeno-Technology and their weak spots, but he would need more training in that if he would dedicate himself to it. Anything like this would be heresy among some chapters, but the Deathwatch was different. An Assault Marine was only as good as his maneuvers and special training allowed him to learn of how to fight more dynamic, now that he was the only Assault in his squad. But also how to pay more attention to his allies without endangering himself. Devastating firepower was only as good as it's owner, and so the Marine learned of what his duty would be in the upcoming missions. To reduce hordes to individuals, leaving them for the rest of the team. To understand he was the ace against armored targets and the multitude of enemies. It was the Librarian who had spent most time in the Librarium of the Deathwatch to learn and study behavior, skills and other feats of the enemies. As very well known in any chapter, these were the men who advised their Chapter Master, it was these who would know the most of their own and that surrounding them. The five were united for the first time after arriving at Death Watch Station Myruh. Unknowingly they all had been among the same craft. But it was here, in the Inquisitors vessel, were they would meet for the first time. Having been led at the same time into the briefing room with the Inquisitor waiting, they were offered to sit down with a hand gesture. "It seems you have not gotten known into each other, yet. If you need time to get known to each other first, then I gladly wait a few minutes until you did so."
He snuffed the chamber's air, picking up couple of distinctive scents inside. There was 6 of them in total, the human in the center being the Inquisitor. His home Chapter always had bad (and that was an understatement) relationship with the Holy Inquisition, so he was indeed curious how would things turn out here. He was a big Space Marine, broad shoulders and, some would say, even bigger belly, but those who would say that aloud usually experienced a most painful death. His great, snowy-white beard covered the Imperial Aquilla on his chest, while his long hair was tied in dreadlocks. His skin was leathery brown, while long canines protruded from his mouth. "Well met warriors. I am Brother Rollo of the Space Wolves. I see we are to fight together from now on?" his voice the sound of rocks grinding against each other.
The blood raven librarian what looked to be his brothers for his time in death watch he could see so far a blood angel and a space wolf. The libertarian's phoenix orange hair was tied in the back causing a brushing from the side he took a breath as he began his words "Hello brothers I am librarian Maverick of the blood ravens."
"Blood Ravens, eh? I heard about your lot, not surprised to see a Warp-touched hailing from that Chapter," Rollo grunted as he shifted in his stance, eyeing this Maverick Marine.
The Techmarine looked about, evaluating his fellow Astartes as they spoke, before introducing himself. "Greetings brothers, I am Caius Tiburon, Techmarine of the Raven Guard."
"its nice to meet you all" as he spoke he looked at the one who had not yet introduced himself and wonderd if this marine was mute
Khereph did respond to the blood angel's look with "I am Apothecary Khereph of the Iron Hands." His voice was kindly, one developed for the bedside manners when treating those wounded in battle. He had short and black hair, and could be considered average in size and weight for a Space Marine. Also noticeable was the Bionic hand that replaced his right hand designed for function, not appearance. He then returned to mentally reviewing everything he had learnt about the flaws inherent in his brothers gene-seed, for it was his duty to retrieve it despite the flaws that would drive a normal Iron Hand to the point of rage... For he was more tolerant of the flesh than most of his brothers in the Clan.
The Techmarine looked over at the Iron Hand and nodded with approval. The Iron Hands were beloved of both the Omnissiah and the Emperor, and had proper respect for the machine spirits. "It is always an honor to meet a member of the esteemed Iron Hands Chapter."
