OOC: WHAAAA?! That thing just had us dropped off how can it be like 2 and 1/2 days away?! It just flew away 10-45 mins ago?! What kind of sorcery is this?!
OOC: Yup thats how I feel right now.... No Inquisition Strike Cruiser ready to provide us with support or at least an Exterminatus, no Thunderhawks to pick us up any earlier than 60 hours.... I guess the Deathwatch is low on funds or something! ^^
Funny but the fact things gave become FUBAR and the mission has moved far ahead of schedule so the ordo xenos has been caught with their pants down and what was it said earlier be prepared for anythint
OOC: So you are telling me we were for 60 hours on this mission already / the Inquisition / Ordo Xenos dropped an elite squad off with no chance of return except winning and that without telling them? Uhm.... I do not really know how I should think about it.... I read about Deathwatch in action already and believe me, they are not just "left to die" they get told "you most likely won't come back" if it's that extreme Source: Ultramarines Novel "Warriors of Ultramar" ; if you RP in a lore-rich universe like WH40k: know your lore, especially if it goes as far as "Deathwatch" which is well known and even has a PnP version. Despite this being non-PnP it still is within the same lore and if it is not, then a warning that this stuff goes far beyond or bends or perhaps even breaks lore would have not been bad. EDIT: Deathwatch always gets extracted, except there would be an obvious reason why not like Anti-Air fire. But since we killed all danger.... Why no extraction?
OOC: Strike Cruiser maybe under attack and if our "mysterious" new enemies have jammed the comms we would have no way of know they were getting hit at least till nighttime where the weapon flashes and explosions and also Urian while I get that in a perfect life Steelfang should and would have a ready made explanation for the 60 hr extract time it isn't nor should we expect that because while I feel Dalarian wrote his whole fall to Black Rage kill everything mode well he should have cleared it with the GM/DM Steelfang not Angel so lets maybe just try to follow his story at least for now because I have seen what happens when players continue to shit upon the story the DM is attempting to weave it pisses him off and it pisses ppl who were looking forward to confronting a big boss battle as a team like SMs should. And to be perfectly honest I would have very much preferred Dalarian not have done what he did and at the same time this likely would have gone much better if Steelfang rather than being part of the Squad was actually the Watch Commander it would make for a lot better narration/story and simpler who's in charge of course its the fucking WC who's in charge and keeping track of us via montioring our life-signs and using the suit/helmetcams to direct us
A clean sweep operation likr this they usually don't need extra support plus I figure since we lost out on a big boss we then this becomes our test of survival and endurance having said that the currently captured members should be flcoming to now they will awake stripped of all gear and hanging upside down
On the news of the 60 hour landing, Sirius met a hard decision. "DREK! Follow me! Jacx, Dalarian, Fire Support! We shall retreat and I will make sure of it! WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THE THUNDERHAWK!" The Apothecary announced, reloading his Bolt Pistol and putting it in his Holster, grabbing Durandal Two-Handed he starts charging through the unknown Astartes. Surprised by the tide of events he killed the first with a clean slice through his hearts, rolling beneath the fire of the second, running past him trusting his Battle-Brothers to shoot while he focuses upon him. The 3rd in the way lost his legs in a painfully way as Durandal cut through the waist. Soon he was to run upon the Ramp and continue his slaughter, with his Deathwatch Brothers close behind him.
*Drek paid little attention to the other Astartes, only defending himself when it was crucial, and even then he only blocked, rarely struck.*
