Airthas was drained of physical vitality, but his mind was more free than ever . The dream had granted his mental thoughts a pacifying sensation that acted like a shield to the dark powers of the warp. He was left to wonder why the universe has chosen to allowed him to live? To protect life, the damned voice had said. While he knew that it spoke with noble intentions, it seemed to forget that his whole life was a crash course of death. But his own history would not change the here and now. The team needed him, or at least needed his skill. He didn't deserve life, but the voice held true with its words. He needed to protect those who yet live, and must suffer life to do so. Just like he had done on countless battlefields, just like he had done for his men during his many campaigns, and just like this moment where his skill was required.

The other Eldar tossed into the bombs high in the air, granted the explosives a momentary freedom from gravity. As they did so, Airthas could feel time slowing to a crawl. The bombs spinning at a snail pace in front of his eyes, becoming one with the world around him. Like his mind and the object bounded to become one, a mental connection matching that of his minds symbiotic relationship with his very body. It was... odd. To feel this outwardly sensation. To be the target he wished to control was something not felt before, and definitely unsettling.

Regardless, he eventually embraced it and in an instant the world speed up. The bombs were sent to there destination, spinning rapidly in the air as crudely as rampaging Orks. The success of the explosives were now in fates hands, just like everything else...

    ~~ Su'iris ~~

'Why?! WHY?!' She yelled in her mind as she began to fall apart inside. "Sa-sa-sacrifice.... no... please...." Her voice was weak and begging before the pain overcame her and she collapsed completely drifting into unconciousness.

    ~~ Eldar Ruin Tunnel ~~

The Bombs reached a weak spot and collapsed the tunnel, like Shin had proposed it indeed caused the tunnel to shut close and the Wraithbone sealed the warp within, protecting the outside world from it's uncontrollable powers. Not even Caerys could sense anyone within anymore, for the Wraithbone shielded from anything in the very same way like the Eldar Craftworlds protected them from the Birth of Slaanesh.

~~ Shin Zhu & Lord of Change ~~

The shielding came just too late to prevent the Lord of Change to emit, but soon enough to block any other daemon out.

"Seems like this is going to be a two on two, Stevanus." Shin Zhu said, remaining defensive, just like the Way of the Blade taught an every Ronin. To counter the enemy is the advantage, for it allows to see weaknesses and counter them accordingly. Evasion was key, block the last option, whereas defeat was never an option.

    ~Caerys~

"Nice job you two, now lets go." She ordered turning from the now collapsed tunnel and making her way to the evac. point. Eldritch taking the lead.

    <Jyraielle, with Caerys>

Jyraielle had been watching the surroundings with rising tension, The scrolls, so briefly revealed, were obviously of great value. Raised in the sheltering embrace of a Craftworld - even one as wild as Saim-Hann - the Scorpion knew great respect for those on the Witch Path and she did not hesitate to obey the Farseer.

"Aida, help Teras. Jyraielle, carry Su'iris. We must go now." Jyraielle did as the Seer instructed, at first politely, then with more insistence though she still lifted the wounded Guardian with all the gentleness she could manage. Keeping a fast pace to match the group, she ran sure-footed over the ancient Wraithbone and towards the exit Caerys had planned.

Su'iris went limp in her arms, and the Warrior quickly scanned her for signs of breathing as they ran along. She still drew breath, and Jyraielle caught Teras' attention, wordlessly signalling to him that she still lived. Then she returned to her vigilance, eyes searching the shadows.

    -Teras
The Dire Avenger nodded thankfully to Jyraielle, gesturing for Aida to bring him a bit closer so he could see for himself while they ran. Muttering quietly over to unconscious Guardian "We'll be out of here soon Love, just a bit longer, we're almost out, almost. "

    -Lingren
The Crimson Fist scanned their surroundings with the Plasma Pistol pulled off their fallen blood Ravens body. So far all seemed clear up here once more. One helluva deployment with this group...

The group arrived at the designated point. Several marines from Eldritch's squad had held the point and were awaiting their arrival. Caerys boarded the Thunderhawk along with a few others. "Back to the Khalir Anaris?" Caerys asked Eldritch. The Marine simply nodded in reply.

    ~Caerys~

"Everyone inside. Eldritch you'll take the Marines?" Caerys asked.

    "Of course." He replied.

"Drop us off at the Khalir Anaris first then." Eldritch nodded then passed her, moving deeper into the Thunderhawk.

The Reaper entered the Thunderhawk and took one of many free seats, his launcher casually placed in his lap.

"Well that was interesting?" he said out loud while thinking about that relic. Bunch of old papers, he figured out there was only one thing he could do with it - wiping his ass with the holy parchment. Knowing that Chaos Sorcerer, the text probably offered some insight into Chaos and it's origin, like it meant something special.

Jyraielle made her way inside with care but without hesitation, finding somewhere secure to place Su'iris in case they should make a sudden takeoff. She searched for some kind of first aid kit on the transport. There must be something here ... logic that appealed to the Scorpion, though the hand of Khaine still wrapped around her heart.

She was only aware of the very basics of tending a wounded fellow soldier, and this looked like more than field aid would fix. The Scorpion flicked mentally through her options. The Farseer was concerned with the scrolls, but there was a Warlock here. Though a Warrior-Seer on his current Path, he might know more. Approaching Aithras, she asked with polite brevity if he could make better use of what she'd found to heal the Black Guardian. Then she settled into a watch, the War-Mask chafing at her mind. Soon, not yet, she promised herself. Wait until the Farseer signals the all clear.
