OOC: I'd actually prefer to wait for more people to react. Sure it is a little late for the AFK guys, but that doesn't mean they should die without even having the chance to do anything. Of course Urian has the final word on that. Nathaniel slowly opened his eyes. The darkness slowly let some light to come through. He looked left and right and realized he is being carried. He tryed to say something but he coughed a few drops of blood instead. His head hurt. His right arm hurt more. His torso hurt the most. He had holes everyhere on his armor and they all bled. He relaxed and just laid there, unable to move. Carry on without me, I'm pretty much useless at this point, and I'm going to bed anyway. Good luck with those Tau!
"Quiet Lorenzo, rest now." Noctis assured him. "No, we are but three Astartes of the Imperium. We're seeking our leave before this place is blown sky high." Noctis replied.
Chaplain was starting to get annoyed now, didn't these Eldar already ran away? "Do I look like a blue skinned alien to you?" he growled "We just want to get out of here. I though all of your kind already escaped. We met your Farseer and I got the impression he was going to leave this facility with his warriors. What happened?"
"Careful Chaplain. We dont want to invite them to combat. Neither you or I are ready for more combat."
The Banshee Exarch stepped forth, the guardians behind him and walked up to the Chaplain. "Must had been another Exarch you saw." She said, Stevanus now clearly hearing the difference in voice to the prior Eldar he had met. "We found these Tau and remembered them from Lorias, the Farseer told us to leave them alive, but I was of other opinion. Therefore if you are not standing in our way, we have Tau to hunt!" She said and ran now past the Marines, the Guardians following her, soon the Astartes could hear further battle and battle cries. And with that the 3 Astartes were alone once again. OOC: I will figure something out for the other 2 eventually... But to be honest, without input I do not like to do anything. I would have liked if somebody else would play for them (like Jester now that his char is dead) though in such case I usually would go ahead and leave them to their demise... I know it's kinda unfair to the roleplayers and the characters, but to be honest what else should I do to show that inactivity is punished if not organized with replacement players, etc.? Though in the end it's up to you guys how we / I should handle it. I would like to make it most enjoyable for everyone and if you guys would have an idea how I should handle such cases, I would welcome those
OOC Yeah what Aragon said. We could wait a bit for James to respond, we could tell he responded in the same time while we were running towards the exit, so our clocks could match. I mean, it's easiest shit in the world to just ignore them, but lets be cool like we were from the start (minus some moments ) and give them a chance. ... "Thank the Emperor. So many Aliens still drawing breath, its good that this place will be blasted to warp and back. Lets go!". Chaplain pressed on, but now battle ready, (as much as he could be in his state) expecting that any new party that would cross his path won't be so forthcoming. On the next intersection, they took the passageway on the right, Chaplains autosensors already worked out the position of the exit.
"We can't hold this out forever," Varius grind his teeth as he struck down another tyranid with FangMaul. "Fall back to the elevator!" With that, the Iron Hand and the Raven Guard fought a fighting retreat back to the elevator and begun their descent once they made it in the lift.
