May I join your squad? It look like you don't have any winged brothers yet. NAME: Nathaniel Lorenzo CHAPTER: Blood Angles, 2nd company CLASS: Assault Marine ARMOUR: Mark VII Aquila covered in Purity seals WEAPONS: Astartes Chainsword and Astartes Bolt Pistol, two Astartes Combat knives EQUIPMENT: Jump Pack, 3 Krak and 3 Frag Grenades, Blood Angels goledn icon TRAITS AND FLAWS: 1. Advanced Melee proficiency (counts as two Traits) - excellent melee fighter 2. Distaste for ranged combat (Flaw) - bad shooter 3. Deeply religious (both Trait and Flaw) - has extreme respect for religious practices, resulting in higher restistance to Corruption and Madness, but also in superstition and disregard for commands that clash with his understanding of righteousness. 4. Bloodlust (both Trait and Flaw) - Additional bonuses in Melee and need for drinking blood, resulting in disregard to Codex Astartes wherever a command stops him from destroying every enemy on sight (he's also very prone to Black Rage). BACKGROUND: Born as a tribesmen on Baal Secundus he was forced out of his village due to his explosive temper and high aggresion. He took the trial to become a brohter of the Blood Angels and after he won the tournament in the battle pits was left in the desert with 10 other boys as additional test. After 23 days he came crawling to a Fortress monestery of the Angels, covered in wounds and carrying the body of one of the other boys. It appears that a Baalian Fire Scorpion ate all the others, but Lorenzo managed to defeat it and come back. This incident scarred him deeply and he became very silent, never talking to others except constantly murmoring prayers and mantras. His extreme bloodlust and devotion to the Emperor and Sanguinius won him much respect in the chapter and he quickly rose through the ranks to a Sergeant in the 2nd Company. When the time came for the Blood Angels to send one brother to the Deathwatch everybody decided that he is perfect for the job and will bring glory to the chapter. It is secretly rumored that they wanted to get rid of him, because he grows evermore fanatical and bloodthirsty as the years pass and he becomes dangerous for the missions he is assigned to. I didn't follow the rules exactly and if you have a problem with anything just let me know and we'll fix it!
Read that bit I put in bold back to yourself than read this please of you don't make the connection just ask and I'll tell you: Quote from Urian's very first post bout this RP: "Last but not least: I do not want to see Mary-sueing around. A Blood Angel or Successor who falls to the black rage, calms down of it and lives on. No. Only one person in the whole wh40k lore has done this" before in a very special situation.
I did read it and I'm ok with the possibility of going mad and dying heroicly. Also, we have a Flesh Tearer chaplain who would be able to handle me *blink blink*. The Black Rage may or may not happen at all, and I don't think one fallen brother will hurt the whole party. Either way I think it would be pretty cool. Do you guys allow it?
I'll use the Carnifex if I need to. ...No, not the Tyranid strain. ...Its what the little drill on my Narthecium injector is called. One small hole directly to their forehead, lights out.
or everyone can just wait until he gets killed or finishes killing and drops dead from the Black Rage and then Grot-Stompa you can just causally walk in and harvest the gene seed. That way there's no mary sue, it's all canonically correct and we'll save time and ammo from avoiding what might be a potentially very costly enemy engagement. *shrug*
Or like Hokken said, I'll take care of him, as my honor demands it. And if he goes completely mad, lead him to the glorious death
