My father trained me...he took the trials of our people when he was young but he failed.....he never regreted it thou....and he had faith that i would pass, to cut it short i did pass all the trials but except the last one, it was very simple when you think about it....i just had to survive 3 minutes in a hand to hand fight againts the last human champion our world had but he was allready a fully fledge space marine, when your young i guess you see everything to easy, i mean 3 minutes....that was all and i could take my right to join the rest of the competitors into the trials of the dark angels. I was full of my self....and charged straight forward at him thinking i could really beat him..., not more than 20 seconds later i was on the ground and my eyes looking at the sky....looks like the marine hitted me soo hard it caused a small concussion, 30 seconds later i got up by a miracle.... it allready passed one minute and i was bleeding alot from my nose. I rallied what ever strenght i had left in me and by what ever force wanted me to succed, knocked the marine out of balance...he didnt even fall mind you....he just moved one leg to recover his posture, 2 minutes passed and i once again fell to the floor almost dead from the blood loss and the internal bleeding, just as about he was about to finish me off another marine clad in full power armor stepped in blocking his strike. Then after talking one last time with my father i was shiped off world, again to cut it short i passed the trials with minor trouble i became a neophyte and later an scout in the manner of less than 20 years...., but then we had great news...all the scouts of planet truxikan would visit the planet for field training....who would have though the dark angels setted a base down there......i was more than happy to visit my old world and i didnt totally loose contact with my father thanks to sargent meller....he allowed me to send voxes from time to time.... When we finally arrived the world was as i remembered peacefull and quiet, when the training drills began i tried to finish them as quickest i could and i was the first one out of the base....hmmp you can guess i rushed to my fathers old med bay as soonest i could, to my suprise the old man was still there....attending a wounded soldier and having a few laughs with him.....i almost cried of out joyment but i wasent a kid anymore. Ahhh the marines that trained me where good hearthed astartes too.., unsual right? they let me stay a couple of days in the med bay before returning to the training, we stayed a couple of months in the planet....in that time i catched up with my old man, we though we would never see each other ever again, to our surprise hahaha!. But then in those few months that our scout company stayed there..., thats when everything went wrong....¨ Jaccx said with a sad tone, one that has seen to much death even for a space marine its not the numbers that mattered to him but more like the value of each live.
