Gabriel Angelos nodded. "The Emperor protects and we know no fear, keep that always in mind Tarcain. You are always welcome to return to the third company. Knowledge is Power, guard it well." He laid a gauntlet on Tarcains shoulder pad, looking him right in his face. Gabriels face was serious and emitted a strange aura around the Blood Raven. An aura of purity, pride and warmth. One that Tarcain never will forget. "Very well Angelos, thank you. I will do my best to return him to the Blood Ravens. Good luck with the purging." Krauz said and then leaned on his ear. "Gabriel of the Hidden Heart." Gabriel looked puzzled, a question on his face resting and the Inquisitor simply nodded. "Well then Tarcain, let us be off, we have the Omnis Arcanum to visit." Krauz walked back in the Thunderhawk, Shin following him after a short greeting to the new member. OOC: Sorry Alex, still no fighting... But I promise: soon!
OOC: Uhm yeah.... Right *scratches head* should have given each of you an in-depth description.... King Fatham is not actually a Ramsa Kolos if you think that. Fatham is indeed the finest warrior of the whole kingdom and leads occasionally (for the real kickass battles) the army and duels the fking enemy leaders. So yeah, don't worry.... ^^ Yet of course he wears fancy clothes / robes during councils and meetings and shit. THOUGH in battle he also has fancy golden armor and what not.... Just imagine like being Leonidas style xDDD. And in fact Fatham was always a close ruler ^^ [I mean you guys could just ask your advisers] Lady Iris presented him a sheet and then explained it. "Our army has at the moment fifty thousand units. Twenty Thousand Swordsman, Five Thousand Lancemen, Five Thousand Horseriders, Ten Thousand archers and crossbowmen, Five thousand Riding Archers, Four Thousand Knights and One Thousand support men and women for first aid and other duties such as carrying, cooking, construction, etc." She then presented the next sheet about economics. "Ora has at the moment value of Ten Thousand Gold coins, seven thousand three hundred and twenty-one (7321) Silver coins and Fifty thousand six hundred and seventy five (50675) Copper coins. Our monthly income is one hundred gold coins, six hundred silver coins and two thousand copper coins. Main income comes through our good export of wood, ore and builders. the second highest income comes through the import of students and people from all kingdoms who pay additional taxes for whatever they do here. The secondary incomes are through selling weapons and equipment to wandering mercenaries. Tertiary incomes from tourism and plays, but the numbers have gone down quite a lot since the messages of possible wars came across the world." "Potential sources of income would be if we would relay more of our Ore to the Lauxens who are speaking of the first prototypes to replace bows and crossbows. The problem with that is that we either need more workers to pay to have more available ore or relay the ore which we export to the Dracons to the Lauxens. Though a proposed deal was that we get their first prototypes as well as the same money the Dracons pay." "Another possible source of income would be to fuel the war between the Undead and the Elves. We could sell mercenaries, soldiers, weapons, rations and such alike to either party, they are at the height of the war and either party would do whatever they can to get the war over with. Yet the Vampires warned anyone who affects the war from outside would get in war with them. Most likely the vampires wait till either kingdom is broken and then fall over them to increase their own power." "The overall status of Kingdom Ora is as following." Lady Iris started, presenting another sheet. "The people are happy and feel safe with the size of our army. Nobody really wants to go to war, our army is completely of volunteers, patriots who are ready to fight until death. But they are well trained and equipped with good maintained weapons. Also our people as you know are mixed of all kingdoms, so they are slightly afraid that only humans will be preferred and guarded once a war among all kingdoms start. After all Humans make eighty-five percent of the whole population of Ora. And furthermore our law states that at this point only humans are allowed to enter our armies, it had been so since the founding of Ora. That would be all." Iris concluded.
Chaplain listened closely to what this women Iris spoke. During the talk, number of ideas came up to him, and he tried to shape them into a plan. When the servant was finished, he finally spoke: "Thank you Lady Iris, that was most detailed report. The time of change is upon us, but we will try to work through peace to ensure this planet's future. So I have a task for you - I want you to increase number of workers so we can mine more ore. That new ore will be sold to Lauxens, like you proposed. Tempestus," he turned to his brother Librarian, "I want you to go to this Lauxen city and confirm this deal we have with them. But the main reason of the visit will be for you to scout their technology, see how advanced they are, and possibly, try to work out some new deal with them to join in an alliance. I'm sure there's something they want, and your task is to see what that is." "Tsu'had, you already told me that you want to check these Dracons for what they are like. I agree. Since we are in good diplomatic relationship with them, I want you to go there and try to cement an alliance. Perhaps first steps should be a joint operations in military field, or training together. Anything you can think off, since you are the general. Of course, you'll find out more about them when you talk to them." "Macha", he turned to his "daughter", "This war between Undead and the Elves unnerves us, for our kingdom wants peace to roam the land, not war. And you are a princess and have some power, so I want you to talk to both kingdoms and try to find a peaceful solution. Act like a mediator in this dispute, where cooler heads shall prevail. So try to create peace talks, possibly on neutral ground, and hear representatives of both kingdoms, and try to work out a solution. Noctis is coming with you, he is a proven diplomat and his skills here shall be irreplaceable. Of course Noctis, don't go empty handed, bring your commandos with you, royal guard for princess, whatever you two deem necessary and try to find out what is that these two warring sides want and work out something. I have faith that you will succeed. I just want to warn you, if they agree on talks, you must organize everything, safety above all! Don't forget that." "This leaves only me and Aldrim. Good. Lady Iris, send a message to the Vampires, invite them to our city and tell them we wish to speak about current situation in our world. Tell them I personally call upon this talks and that I will be present there, so they would have to send some higher representative. When they arrive, me and Aldrim will deal with them and see what's their angle in all of this." Stevanus sat back on his seat. "That would be all. Any questions?" EDIT OOC Cousin if you go there, perhaps it's better to leave that captain who killed bunch of Dragons behind so they don't get nervous when you speak to them
"Aye Stevanus it will be done." Turning to the captain he continues. "Clegane, prepare an honor guard for our visit to the Dracons. And while your at it prepare one for Tempestus as well. You however will remain here to manage the army in my stead" Looking back to the discussion, Tsu'had voices some ideas. "I believe if we can enter a formal alliance with the Dracons and the Lauxens, we will have all the forces we need to conquer the other races. Especially with the Elves and Undead weakened by the war with eachother."
¨Its been more than a day......Great one is there a way i could know how they are doing? just that and i wish to learn more about your people and your plantet.....it should be educating¨ Jaccx spoke to the tribe leader, he didnt knew to well this deathwatch team yet but they are astartes after all they will get the job done, but he didnt ask because he was worried more like trying to show this leader some distraction, if he allowed it jaccx would watch his brothers return but he also stayed behind to scout this planet after all they started in a medbay and then followed the creature know as zack through a great bridge where they saw a *perfect* society untouch by war and differences, they didnt really had the chance to go down there and learn anything. If the dark angel could learn something out of this before the trial was over, he would amend previous mistakes and perhaps learn the true *nature* of this world. The hall was quiet, too quiet, the dark angel didnt like it one bit, he just hoped the tribe leader would allow him such freedom after all he couldnt scape and call for help, he needed to learn their secrets. ¨(You better hurry brothers.....because what im about to do will requiere the whole extend of my temper......to suffer the xeno....)¨ ¨I could be scorted by your guards if you wish great one!......¨ The marine said, with a rather cheerfull voice. ¨(all that childs talk better pay off, the interrogator chaplains better had taught me well.....the chit chat its not only to annoy.....)¨ Jaccx had a grim smile inside his helmet, he was a dark angel after all and they have a way with words.
The Assistant of 'Tempestus' spoke up. "King Fatham, would it not be better to visit King Duriel Dracon yourself? You two maintained a long friendship, and I am certain his child, Safi, would be also pleasant to see once again who he considers uncle." The other advisors nodded silently, just Bryann did not care, shrugging. The Princess turned to her 'father'. "I concur on that idea, father." She said with a soft smile, looking over to her Guardian. "I am certain a squad organized by Noctis will be more than required. I shall do my best to organize peace between the kingdoms, my only fear is that the Vampires may create a blockade once we dispatch. It would be quite smarter to send a true royal chariot ahead, while I with simple horses and what looks like simple men, but are truly the royal guard, shall travel another route, alas that is what you should consider, Father." Macha suggested.
