Chaplain listened to Orichalcos's words. When he was finished, Stevanus spoke. "So this place, V'lynn. It is a real place, not a place from a simulator? And those people on the planet are real?"
"All of it is real. Just another dimension. So things may be... different. But we have no influence in whatsoever. All is up to you and the people that live there. It is as real as this, as real as.... Cretacia." Orichalcos answered. "If you have a list of questions so I would recommend you to ask them all. Also as an exception I allow your team to ask me as well, in case they have questions on which their leader might not think of."
"Why do this?" Stevanus asked, "Interfere with another species and their lives, to play a God. You seemed friendly....or was I mistaken?"
"At the moment the people of Ora and Dracon seem to connect a bit. The Elves and Undead still hate eachother to the death. The Vampires are getting more peaceful and getting along with others, through a recent change in leadership. The Lauxens do not care for anyone in particular, they simply research and develop new machinery of all kind. Support of everyday life as much as for War. No other specific relations." "It is your challenge. Also.... WE, the Orichalci are not the ones interfering, YOU are."
tempestus thought for a moment then asked a question "the simulations you put us in they were created using our subconsious if i am correct" as he spoke he used his mind to search the area as steavanus had asked he looked for any trace of flaw in the environment "how did you come across such powerful technology"
"Research and living a long time." Was simply answered. "But I would prefer we keep the questions orientated on the upcoming challenge. You may choose once you have won your four out of seven challenges to gain that knowledge or not."
"It seems my thoughts are correct. I believe to know their true beings." Macha looked up on the massive creature.
Chaplain narrowed his eyes, "That's one way to put it." With every challenge Stevanus learned more about these aliens, and to know your enemy was the difference between life and death. Yes, Chaplain didn't think of them as friends, since friends don't hold you against your will in their city, no matter how noble their intentions seem. So Chaplain was, as ever, ready for any nasty surprises they had in store for Kill-Team Lightbringer. He looked upon the small globe in front of him, and thought about it for a long moment. Then he turned to his brothers "Any ideas on which race to chose?"
