Nothing happened. OOC: The Werewolf Curse, not Aldrims personal curse "Aldrim - Question Number One: Are you afraid of the Curse of the Wulffen?"
¨And soo like that we are somewhere else....allright lets get this done.., take my hand librarian this should be something to remember if we survive....but weird i cant spot the flag yet.¨ OOC: Is it just a green plane of grass? or what am i trying to see danm you! a swamp filled with nurgle deamons?! or the freaking carebears inviting me to a cup of tea?
OOC: simulation did not even begin yet.... Eager McBeaver you simply appeared in the blue-black simulation room where it would start in 10 seconds and that you would have the chance to make your weapon of choice by thinking of it. EDIT: Just now saw the carebears comment...... I see amazing things for a future challenge....
~~ Hammer of Faith ~~ "Your own quarters, sir." The Guardsman who guarded him said, it was the same that assisted him through the ship earlier. "Krauz just let me know that we are inbound in Kronus in less than an hour, please ready for deployment soon."
Thain quickly gets his equipment on. "Where can i go get my jump pack?" Ooc: no jump packs in quarters
Ooc sorry been in a chemistry lab since 8am local time (10hours) Tempestus looked at the dark angel and spoke "I belive this is a subcinsies trial" as he spoke he thought about a jump pack for him self and a halbeard to weild in his left hand (grey knight force halbeard)
OOC: What happened so far... ~~ Team Eldar ~~ Shadhunter: Noctis concentrated on a bolter. Being lighter it would provide much needed mobility in the mountains compared to the heavier version. UrianVelos: ~~ Team Eldar ~~ As Macha had her spear and Noctis his Godwyn Bolter they found themselves from one second to another in a mountain region. Standing on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. "This is the Mount Everest in the year two-thousand-three-hundred-and-forty-six, Planet Terra." The Synthetic voice revealed. They were standing on the icy tip, the cold being as real as the thin air and the snow beneath their feet. Though Macha was used to such cold, so was Noctis who was anyway protected by his armor. Macha stepped forth and looked down, Noctis hand in hers, just as the Challenge required: Physical Contact at all times. "Told you it would make a difference, Orkan Wolf." She said, pointing with her other hand at the foot of the mountain, a single flag waving with icon of the Space Wolves on the one side, and the insignia of Craftworld Biel-Tan on the other. "You might choose each one of the four tools now." The Synthetic voice announced as two desks appeared, each with four tools. They were from the left to right: A five meter long Rope, Safety Hooks (ten of them, incl. a belt to carry them), a grappling hook and last but not least a communication device (walkie-talkie / satellite phone, whatever) Shadhunter: Noctis examined each item from their position. "What do you think? We still have telepathy?" UrianVelos: out of reflex I wanted to reply here.... Shadhunter: You can and just make 1 big post UrianVelos: "I think we still have them, but why a communication device if we need to keep Physical contact?" Macha added, tilting her head. Perhaps the obvious mistake, was the true reward? "We could risk and take it. The only other thing that is worthwhile alone would be the rope." She added Shadhunter: "A fair point." He replied. "I am accustomed to climbing with little assistance from tools so it will not hinder me." He stated as he clipped the bolter to his belt and reached for the rope. Shadhunter: Ooc: I can reply faster next class UrianVelos: "I have my spear which I can use as a tool." She said, taking the communication device, as soon as having it grabbed the other tools vanished. "So what is your idea to approach this?" The Eldar farseer asked curios, relying on his mountain skills as she might easier adapt to his approach than him to hers. OOC: oki doki Shadhunter: He chuckled. "I imagine your idea is better thought out than mine. A simple slow climb down, taking any easier routes. Your idea?" UrianVelos: "The same, just that we should use the rope to keep our hands or wrists tied together. Keep in mind, the moment we lose physical contact is the moment we fail, and the others are as much counting on us as we on them." Macha said soft, looking around to see which route might be the easiest. Shadhunter: "I just thought i'd carry you down." He chuckled again. "Hold onto my back, may be easier if just one of us climbs." He suggested. Shadhunter: Ooc: slight edit, was not a command, simply further explanation. UrianVelos: It was good she had her mask on, as a slight blush occurred among her face. She followed the idea though and made it on his back. "I hope you are doing this because of your statement that it would be easier in general and not because I am an Ishar." OOC: aye! Shadhunter: Her statement caused him to laugh. "Tie yourself to me if you must. I do believe it would be easier, do you really want to climb down this mountain with one of your hands tied to mine? At least this way I have two free hands. Just point me in the right direction and I'll make my way there... Ishar... that may or may not have played a part." He laughed. UrianVelos: "You sure are different than the others of your kin. I am sure Eldritch is proud of you." Macha stated as she had her legs around the waist of Noctis and grabbed the rope from him, bringing it around her back and over Noctis chest a few times in different angles until all of the rope was wasted and then knotting it up. The communication device was mag-locked on Noctis utility belt. As she was done she put her arms around his neck and her head on his right shoulder. "I am ready, Orkan Wolf. But be careful to not jump all the way down at once. It seems gravity is... strong." Shadhunter: Her statement made him smile beneath his helm. "Please, call me Noctis." He paused for a moment. "I typically take these things slow, I do weigh quite a bit compared to your average human. Have you found a preferable path?" He asked looking over the ledge himself. UrianVelos: "Not exactly... Noctis, but it seems there is a path that had been traversed more often, see there." She pointed straight ahead where it looked like a very thin path, probably for regular humans designed, led at least a bit down. Shadhunter: "Very well" He stated as he made his way to the path. He turned to face the mountain and began his descent. He tested each foothold and handhold before fully committing to the movement. It reminded him of the many years ago in the mountains of Fenris, and for once, he truly felt at home. "How you feeling?" He asked curious to see how she was holding up now that they had begun. UrianVelos: "Are you going to ask that every second? I am well, but do not worry too much for me, as you are the one walking." She said, wondering if the Spear was still a good idea as it was mounted on her back through the rope. OOC: yay lots of filler talk! Shadhunter: Ooc: bond building Shadhunter: "I've yet to ask that since we arrived." He smiled. "You need not worry about me. I've grown much stronger since I last did this. Your weight is no trouble." In a strange way, he actually welcomed it. It reminded him of why he was doing this. It gave him a sense of purpose. He tested another foothold and descended further. He looked for a hold for his hand, finding it in an exposed rock. He pulled on the rock and found it held firm. Pleased, he committed to grasping it. "Any idea on the gender Ishar?" He asked hoping she may be interested in talking, and perhaps strengthen the bond between the pair in the process. Shadhunter: K it's edited, no Eldar word for "child/offspring" UrianVelos: "No, the visions on that topic are as unclear as the fog in heavy rain." She said simply, thinking on the father of the child she carries, but the thoughts went away quickly as she wondered. "The Orichalci... How did they fix your brothers arms?" Macha said out of nowhere. OOC: btw won't write anything about the climbing until something actually happens.... and a lot can happen during climbing the mount everest down xD Shadhunter: "Your guess is better than mine. The Eldar have advanced further than my race. We have similar technology but it does not work to such efficiency." He paused for a few moments. "Is there anything you desire to know about me? This deathwatch?" Shadhunter: Ooc:know you like to share your background info and know others background... so here you go UrianVelos: "Not you in particular, Noctis... Rather... If they have access to Imperial Technology, how much might they have of the others? Tyranids and Necrontyr in particular." She stated, wondering... After all these were to be peaceful and smart, yet mighty beings. Not aware of rage, lust for war and such things which made them immune to the chaos gods and any other influence but themselves... Shadhunter: Ooc: done with that thought correct? UrianVelos: OOC: aye Shadhunter: "If they live within the webway I imagine they know immense amounts of information on the galaxy in general. Perhaps knowing it's pathways better than the Eldar or your dark kin. Is there anything else within the tales of the Orichalci you haven't shared yet?" UrianVelos: "The tales were quite vague... I can't remember anything else of importance right now... But even knowing a lot does not allow you to perform duties of construction and repair the same way the Engineers of the Imperium might.." Macha was wondering if they perhaps had spies among all kins or something and that is where their knowledge originates. Shadhunter: "Hmm. Tell me something Macha." His thoughts drifting back to the rune around his neck. "You said this rune I wear originated from Taldeer, and not from Caerys. How would you have come to know that if she was no longer of Biel-tan? And any idea why she sent it?" UrianVelos: "She engraved a psychic message within, the twist is that only those with an Eldar mind can work them. The core of the rune is made out of Wraithbone, we can sense who constructed it. So an every Eldar you will ever meet, will know you are a friend of Farseer Taldeer from Craftworld Ulthwe." Macha explained with what seemed a hint of joy in her voice. "The Purpose, though. I might only guess, and whatever it was that made her give it to you... Is a symbol of a lot of faith and gratitude of whatever you have managed to accomplish."
Shadhunter: "Perhaps she knows..." He muttered. "What I'm about to share with you, I am not proud of and I regret I was not stronger." The Oath of Silence crossed his mind but he tossed the thought aside. She was one of them for the time being and secrets would not help here. "Those that remember the event are a number that dwindles constantly. Krauz directed us towards an Eldar ship that had supposedly taken some Eldar artifacts. The book of Biel-Tan and your mask were among them. I ran into Taldeer aboard the vessel. We agreed to assist each other as she informed is the ship was under attack. We discovered Ahriman was aboard." His foot slipped for a moment but he quickly regained control and righted himself. "We hurried to the bridge upon that revelation to find Ahriman was already there with Taldeer. We fought managing to free Taldeer. She then took me aside and handed me the book of Biel-Tan instructing I take it to Krauz. I made to do that but Ahriman had cut me off... I saved the book but was not quick enough to prevent him from snatching a few pages and then vanishing. Not long after I received the rune, I simply assumed it was from Caerys, due to her prior cooperation with Eldritch and the fact he sent it..." Shadhunter: Ooc: walls take a while on kindle to produce UrianVelos: "My mask.... That explains a lot..." She started, clinging tighter on Noctis as he almost slipped. "Careful there... And do not worry, you did what you could. The Journals of Biel-Tan are important indeed, each page is very valuable, some even give hints to the Black Library, but you have done your best I am sure and Taldeer gave you the rune to assure you of that." "Also... The rune contains more than that... But my intuition as a seer and as one who knew Taldeer tell me that it is not the right time to mention it." Macha added, their talk interrupted by the Communication device attached to Noctis Utility Belt. "Expedition Team please come in. Expedition Team, please come in." A voice repeated coming from it. "You should answer it." Macha whispered in the Wolves ear, thinking it might work out loud. Not knowing yet that it has a button on the side it must be pressed. UrianVelos: OOC: gonna post current state on forum
"The... Armory?" The Guardsman asked, wondering if whatever the Astartes drank was perhaps too strong.
