He bears as many secrets as the rest of us if not more. These challenges are no place for fear of each other. Noctis paused for a moment calming himself. Are you familiar with traversing mountains?
"You do not even know your own kin, Orkan Wolf." Macha said playful. "It is not just the amount of secrets... it is the depth of secrets." Her eyes wandered to Tempestus. "And Mountains... yes, but the question is... Up or down a mountain."
He is one of the newer members. To compare to Eldar he would be from an entirely different Craftworld, one which does not usually get along with mine. It is no matter though, you are correct. I can go up and down a mountain, I was born on Fenris, I spent great deals of time in the mountains. Does it make a difference to you going up or down?
"It will to both of us. Up means to fight gravity, the risk of fall even greater, to conquer a cliff which could be as straight and smooth as a blade. Down means to fight the air, to be one with gravity but not let it drag you unto the ground. Climbing the one way or the other makes significant difference. Just as... If you would go with a mere ally... or a true friend." She put her left hand on top of Noctis' hand, hers being much smaller than his gauntlet-armored hand.
Aye it will. He placed his other hand on top of hers. But if I have to I'll carry you the entire way. We'll get this done, together.
Checking his gear one more time, still not fully happy with his sword being repaired, he was used to its power shortage that way he allways remembered his brothers back at the chapter who taught him to... *Always put your own strenght in each blow, the sword is as strong as the warrior using it...., dont trust that the blade will do all the work, you gotta put your spirit in it jaccx!now get up! you still have a lot to learn...* ¨(That sure was a beating i took....ahhh good old times...)¨ ¨Soo tempestus...i dont really know you that well but i hope we can get along....dont worry in my scout days i used to spend alot of my free time in the librarium and my brother librariams ofcourse....i could never win a poker game....but i trust your vision will be more than that huh?.¨ Extending his hand to the librarian. OOC:Awwww xeno love! the truest there is! yuk.
Moving alongside Tsu'had, Aldrim checked his gear, placing his pistols on his belt, leaving his hands free... knowing he had nothing to hide and wore his heart on his sleeve, he knew he would be going into this challenge with astarte's he trusted without a doubt in his mind. Looking to the Chaplain, the wolf simply nodded in agreement... showing that he was ready for whatever questions they were about to face in that chamber.
Tempestus took the hand offerd to him "if the emperor wills it I will die finishing my mision, untill then lets get this done" as he spoke out load he then switched his vox so that only the dark angel could here "im more of a recluse so working In a team is hard I was trained from ten by the old cheif librarian of my chapter and molded into his image but we should be fine as long as I dont see a vision"
Satisfied that his entire gear was on him, and he needed nothing else, Chaplain stepped away from the lockers and towards the giant creature. "When do we start?"
"Now." Was simply answered once everyone was ready. Being teleported instantaneous. ~~ Team Eldar ~~ Noctis and Macha appeared in what seemed like a blue-black room, designed in squares. (OOC: Imagine... this) A synthetic voice came out of nowhere. "Mountain Simulation - Capture The Flag will start in Ten Seconds, stand by for simulation start. If you desire any specific armor or weapon please think of it now. Tools that could help you are denied as you have to choose two out of four, they will appear shortly, choose wisely." And with that the Machine started backwards from ten on. Macha closed her eyes behind her mask, concentrating her mind on a Singing Spear as it would work like a pole and it's sharp tip could be also of help. ~~ Team Secrecy ~~ Tempestus and Jaccx landed in a room that looked just like the one Noctis and Macha had been teleported to. "Grassland Simulation - Capture The Flag will start in Ten Seconds, stand by for simulation start. If you desire any specific armor or weapon please think of it now. Tools that could help you are denied as you have to choose two out of four, they will appear shortly, choose wisely." And with that the Machine started to count backwards from ten down to zero. ~~ Team Trust ~~ Stevanus, Tsu'had and Aldrim landed in a pitch black room, save for a torch in a pan hanging above their heads. Each of them were standing on a small platform, at the tip it had a podest, no doors anywhere. The ceiling was visible but the floor... It was an endless pit. "Please step up to the Podium. Once you are all ready, the questions will start. Each has to answer seven questions truthfully. Stevanus will be the first to be asked, then Tsu'had and then Aldrim. If one should lie, a piece of the Platform will fall off for the other two Participants. Once if there had been three lies resulting a platform to move, the participant will fall to his death. The Challenge ends once each survivor has answered all seven questions. As example to clarify the rules. If Stevanus would lie twice, and Aldrim once, Tsu'had would fall into the bottomless pits as three lies had been made." The Synthetic voice paused shortly, as if thinking for a moment. "Oh and before we start... If there should be only one Survivor, this Challenge will count as three won Challenges for the entire group."
