As tempstus looked at the iron hand he slowly laughed "id prefer to ust the terminal but in truth I have a better idea" as he spoke he pased warp flame around his sword and started using it to cut a hole in the door the same way a plasma cutter would "keep an eye out this may take a while" as tempestus spoke he made sure the others did not get in the way Ooc the power he is using is one from the warhammer 40k rule book from pyromancy it is basicly a melta will get the name later dor you
OOC: I would give it a bit more time, but at least you can have closer trust to him as he helped holding back the Skitarii the other time with the BA and FT. Tempestus eventually cuts a breach big enough in for the squad to move through, though the hole is just big enough for one Astartes at a time. Through the hole they can see a relative big room, similar to the 4-way intersection the Servitor led them too earlier. But this had a weird tube in it's center, apparently going vertical through the whole complex. Furthermore many ways in many different directions could be taken from this "hub" (see map) Seeing nothing too special or out of place Linkin decided to move the right hallway down. As he walked a bit down the path he saw more Astartes-like Synthetic creatures running past him... But they came straight out of the wall at the straight end ahead, just as if the wall didn't exist... On the other hand, besides examining this anomaly, Linkin also had the possibility to follow the hallway into a left-turn (then walking towards east again on the map) which led further into the heart of the "Fortress Hera".
Linkin looked particularly at the "wall," making his way cautiously towards it after making sure no one was still walking out of it. He touched the barrier, then if possible, he poke his head quickly through it, taking a look around.
His hand was just going through it as if there was really no wall. After sticking his head inside he could see a similar room like the one in the Library of Ptolemy... But... less observational and more manufacturing. From here he could already see a conveyor belt which was putting piece by piece together the kind of robotic-soldiers he had seen before. But this part seemed to run remotely as no guard or observer was around... Or they were just deeper in the facility than Linkin could see.
Linkin walks in, and proceeds to shoot all the surveillance devices in the room (OOC: I'll assume there are some and the alarm goes off when he does this, but if not then ignore that part). He quickly looks around for a terminal, something to control the soldiers operating outside (if there is one), he rushes to it and looks for a way to seize control of the combatants. Afterwards, he uses the stock of his bolter to bash in key components of the manufacturing machine, hoping to shut it down by taking out a critical bolt here and a pivotal gear there. Lastly, he grabs whatever weapons that may be of use to an astartes (priority to explosives first) and exits the room, going down the other path that leads deeper into the heart of the fortress, being more stealthy as he exits the manufacturing room.
Nethaniel removed his helmet once again. He wore it only when he really had to. "What a surprise - yet another maze. I am starting to get tired of all this corridors. This tube in the center looks important. I could Jump up there and climb up to take a look from above. Do you think it may hide some unseen dangers, brother Psyker?" he asked looking at Tempestus.
OOC: such a smooth writing lol! Linkin not spotting a camera moves on to a terminal that is next to the conveyor belt, but it all being gibberish to him as it is a complex made console, so he ignores it and moves on with his prior made plan. By crashing down a support of the manufactorum-assembly the whole process halted, a security alarm going on that as production has been halted due to mechanical error. Half a dozen started to rush in and analyze the problem, but until they got in, Linkin was already on the other side of the room, grabbing melta bombs and frag grenades and replenishes his Kraken ammo. Nothing else seemed much use to him, but he noted in his memory to mention the xenos weapons he saw. Eldar blades, Tau Rifles, Ork Dakkas, Tyranid Claws, even a single Necron disentigrator. As he was done and rushes beyond the Servitors who did not care for Linkin as they were fixing the machine, he headed further into the Fortress, spotting a sign on the wall with an arrow towards east. (just further into the Fortress Hera) "Main Generator Hall" OOC: it disappears into the ceiling and ground, it's roughly as wide as an Astartes, so nobody could crouch through, but you could blow it up or make a hole or something to see if there is anything inside ^^ But as personal advice.... take one of the corridors
Mission started already but a few gamers are not participating so you could take the place of them, like the Raven Guard Apothecary or the Devastator... Or well you wait until next mission to join the deathwatch. (please PM me for further questions, etc.)
