The Swordsman shifted for the first time since the meeting began, and slowly spoke, "No, the Emperor Protects." His gaze continues to scan the room, having found weaknesses in most of the astartes's fighting style already from the way they carried themselves. If he got close, none of them would stand a chance one on one against him.
"The Emperor protects against the Xenos, Witches and Heretics." Krauz said, looking the Black Templar right in the eyes behind his helmet. "If nobody has any other comments or questions then you are dismissed until arrival."
"Nothing further to add." Noctis stated glancing over to the Templar. He will never know. He thought, placing a hand over his chest.
Tempestus looked at the inquisitor "I have a request I would like if posible to enter the ork ship at a difrent location to our tempelar brother, no offence just a psycher and paryer dont work well together" as tempestus spoke he looked at the tempelar
The Templar was really pissing Tsu'had off. The Salamander could tell that the Swordsman thought that he was better than all the other Astartes present. Who was this Astartes to question a son of Vulkan? Well let him be blinded by arrogance, it'll make it that much more fulfilling when Tsu'had's flail crushes his face.
"Take Noctis and Cassius with you, not a bad idea. You could distract the Orks or disable some systems, scavenge some of their things. After all they had been raiding Imperial Worlds for quite a while, perhaps you learn something useful." Krauz thought, getting the most potential-dangerous for the Templar off their backs.
"Then it is settled" Chaplain ordered. "Brother Tempestus shall move away from the main attacking force. In addition to Inquisitor's suggestion, I want you to try and find their engines, and prepare them for overload, so if the mission goes ill, we destroy the whole Rok." "The remaining part of the team will be lead by me. We will board the ship and head for the bridge to find our quarry there." Then he turned around and looked each and every Astartes in their eyes "Despite our differences, never forget that all of us are here united at the single purpose of destroying the enemies of the Emperor, blessed be His name. This comes as our primary mission, and I expect each and every one of you brothers, both old and new, to focus at task at hand and not let petty squabbles interfere with your dedication. The Emperor Knows. The Emperor is Watching"
The Swordsman watched as the Chaplain spoke. The Black Templar have always held chaplains in great respect, and from his words this one seems no different in faith than any of the others that he have served under, or have served him. The Swordsman gave a slight nod, though noticing again why this Flesh Tearer does not wield the traditional Crozius Arcanum, choosing instead that curious weapon. He may have a word in time with the chaplain upon that as well.
OOC: @Colapse, keep in mind we have no idea what it is.... could be even a stolen Strike Cruiser that had been 'orkified' xD @all just giving some more time to let you guys interact with eachother, sometimes tomorrow I will write the arrival and deployment "Then so it shall be. Make sure to be ready upon arrival. Estimation is two hours, so make sure to be ready in the Drop Pods." Krauz said standing up and taking his leave. 'The Swordsman might be not that bad at all... Just unlucky that I have... preferred ways which are not generally accepted... I had luck that Stevanus and the others are even accepting my ways.' The Inquisitor thought as he was heading to his Private chambers, formulating the message for Varius Taye. If worst comes to worst, they will need the Raven Guard and to have known someone personally is always an advantage... Always.
OOC yh np, my bad, should have called it an Ork craft ... "Good. Men you have your orders. Repeat the Rites of Battle and get ready for deployment. May the Emperor guide us to glory." When his men left the room one by one, Stevanus waited for the room to empty until he was alone with the Templar. Chaplain approached him and stood face to face with the other Astrates. "I have a problem brother. I know something about every man that serve under me, except for one. I believe the key to success is complete and utter dedication to the mission and doing the Emperor's will, and I cannot allow rogue elements to compromise this." "So, before I even trust you to guard my back, I want to know something about you" he trailed off, waiting for the answer and barging the Templar's way out of the room.
