OOC: You are too fancy for 'OOC:' eh? Anyway there are some news for you once the mission is over, so just wait until then.
OOC: Watchman, you can assume you got full control again ^^ ~~ Hammer of Faith - 1037 Local Time ~~ The Pilot turned around, staring at Stevanus. "I know of your temperament, I saw it on my own on Haroldheim II Secundus if you remember! But Krauz is more than just my officer in charge! How you see your Battle-Brothers, so I feel for him, just stronger! I served his mentor before him and I serve him now!" He then turned to Nathaniel as his massive hand touched his shoulder, ignoring Tempestus almost completely. "My name does not matter as I have laid it off quite a while ago when I joined the Inquisition, I am the Pilot. Nothing more, nothing less." The Pilot sighed and turned back to Tempestus and Stevanus. "With a Drop-Pod you would be faster." He stood up and walked out, letting none stop him, the Astartes seeing that he heads off after the medical team who carried Krauz.
"Your devotion is admirable, and so are you skills as a pilot." Nathaniel tapped the pilot's shoulder once more, than lifted his hand. "Men like you are the true might of the Imperium. Just remember that we are all into this and we all fight for the success of this mission and the well being of the lord Inquisitor. Let us all do our jobs and prey to the God-Emperor, instead of barking at each other like Baalian hounds."
Chaplain watched the Pilot move away carelessly and smiled. "I'll be sure to remember Krauz how much devoted servant he has". Then he turned to his team. "Brothers, we are all wounded and tired. But let us make this one last effort and find our lost Ronin brother. If anyone wishes to stay, I won't stop him. Everyone else, to the Drop pod!" Stevanus picked up the pace and as fast as his injured body could withstand, he ran towards the Drop pod launching bay, in the meantime notifying Ship Captain of his intention and ordering him to prepare him adequate Drop pod...
Noctis followed directly behind the Chaplain to the drop pod, he felt he was in good enough condition to assist Stevanus.
~~ Planet Ruvorn - Fields of Heraldis - 1035 Local Time ~~ Shin looked up to the Necron Warrior, his weapon looking down upon his gaze, as if knowing what the Astartes just did. Though to the surprise of Shin the Warrior did not directly kill him, he raised his weapon, wanting to cut his head off with the attached blade on the front of the Rifle. Just as the blade was to hit the neck a Blue Flash glowed up, bursting the head off the Necron and so the creature fell to death. Gazing to the origin of the fire he saw a familiar suit, a man he thought he had seen dieing, the leader of the Tau Scavenger forces, breathing hard as his lower body was completely gone, hacked off violently by the flying Tyrant from before, his upper torso with both arms and head remained though. The Weapon turned off and the man lowered his weapon, falling down to the side. He endured all this time for a last shot to save his comrade in battle. The Last of the Tau Scavengers had fallen and so the irony of their story was completed. Though Shin noticed the similarity to the Deathwatch and would always remember what narrow path it is between correct and wrong. This man had gathered soldiers to use Xeno Technology and 'betrayed' their men who had been revealed as greedy and Genestealers and led Raids against the government of this world. But despite all that and being hunted men by the Imperium, at the zero hour of Ruvorn they stood by the Defenders and used the Xeno technology to save the world and a Deathwatch Astartes. So what was the role of the Deathwatch? Being a soldier in the name of the Ordo Xenos to examine, learn and research about the Alien enemy of the Imperium of Mankind. But here he was, saved by an Imperial Man using a Xenos weapon, and Shin as good as every other Astartes would have known, that as good as every other weapon of Imperial technology designed for a single Guardsman would had been never enough to kill a Necron Warrior like this. Was the purpose perhaps to steal Xenos Technology like this man did to use against another enemy? Using Tau technology to counter Necrons, using Necron technology to defeat Tyranids, using Tyranid knowledge to defeat Orks, using Ork knowledge to destroy Eldar and use Eldar knowledge to destroy Tau? The Ronin was not certain, but he would never forget to keep himself reminded and find the purpose of serving the Deathwatch, the true purpose.
~~ Planet Ruvorn - Fields of Heraldis - 1040 Local Time ~~ After five more minutes of laying around without able to move, his brothers finally found him under a Son of Guilliman Assault bike. He was recovered as quick as required thanks of the new friend the Ronin made on Ruvorn, Kaze the pitch-black bird from the island forest. After finding and freeing their battle-brother they looked around themselves... What had been a beautiful green field was now nothing but dirt as the Tyranids took all it's Bio-Mass, roughly every five kilometers a huge Caterpillar reaching out, though they started to collapse as the Hive Mind was gone and their function was not needed any longer, as if having lost purpose in life they fell and crashed on the ground. Nothing in danger of smashing the Astartes though. "Colonel Felix Steiner, global message to anyone who receives this message. I repeat, Colonel Felix Steiner, global message to anyone who receives this message." He started and the Deathwatch, save for Shin as his systems were offline, could hear him loud and clear. "Report immediately to Heraldis on Regular frequence and retreat to Heraldis, last word of the Deathwatch Astartes Shin Zhu was that the Necrons are coming, since we have not heard word of him we must expect the worst! All Troops are to move to Heraldis, ASAP!"
OOC: After that save but prior to being found. Sorry if this requires anyone to edit their post (shouldn't though...) Shin Zhu stared grimly at his now dead savior. "Rest easy with the Emperor now, friend." He prayed the silent rites in his mind as he still could not dig himself out from under the bike. It was only now, after the immediate dangers were over, that he saw the pool of blood sipping out from under him. Apparently at least one of his legs were crushed, and will require extensive surgery. The Ronin hopes that it will not need replacement, but it was obvious from the amount of blood he's losing that his other leg was bleeding profusely as well, if that wasn't crushed also. He smiled grimly at the sky. He might die now, but he will stand gladly by the Emperor's side to tell him that his world will live to fight another day. Just as the light began to fade from his vision, he had one last thought. The Ronin gave a loud whistle into the air, but before anything could happen, slipped unconscious from the amount of blood he lost.
OOC: Okay will edit prior post to this, no prob jester, good idea / use also ^^ ~~ Planet Ruvorn - Fields of Heraldis - 1039 Local Time ~~ Kaze as out of nowhere flew straight down and found the unconcious owner of hers. She tried to pick him to wake him up, but intuitevely knew of the danger he was in. She rushed back into the skies, calling for her kin who rushed by as quick as she did when she heard the whistle. Together the hundreds of Flying black eagle-like birds started to push the bike off, Kaze noticed it had no use but told them to kept trying, seeing in the distance an object from the sky, same colors and insignias as her owner wore on his body she hurried over to the landed object, noticing at least one familiar figure she landed on his Shoulder and pointed with her wing where her owner laid. Noctis was quite surprised on the welcome committee but Tsu'had, Nathaniel, Stevanus and the Devastator understood clearly, just as if the bird had told them directly in their mind what was going on.
