~~ Ruvorn Surface - 0847 local time~~ The Tyranid Forces now headed straight for Jandra, ignoring Heraldis so far. At least two hundred thousand Hormagaunts and Termagaunts each marched for Jandra, Rippers exceeding their number start to feed on the earth and it's minerals, creating the first bio-pools. Zoanthropes floating among the Gaunts, protected by Tyranid Warriors. Just five minutes later a very similar force landed from orbit to surface against Heraldis. The difference: Ten Carnifexes hurrying straight for the Armored Division while Basilisk fire rained down on the Gaunts. A more serious problem: The Gargoyles that attacked the fleet earlier learned they could not penetrate the shields and headed for the Surface instead, outnumbering the anti-air cannons of both Heraldis and Jandra, their corpses raining down, falling on some of the Defenders and filling the cities with their corpses, but many more started to attack the men on Heraldis walls or tried to dig their way through the mountain at the shooting slits. ~~ Ruvorn Orbit 0903 local time~~ It felt like hours, but was mere twenty minutes further of battle. two cruisers, one each for Tau and Imperium, have been destroyed but it was time.... "KRAUZ! WE ARE SHOOTING YOUR HOLE IN THERE NOW, GET MOVING!" The Admiral barked over the Vox Channel, Tau and Imperial Fleet being in backwards motion, but shooting salvo after salvo into one spot of the Tyranid Fleet, creating the hole for the Tau and Deathwatch strike force, this was the moment: All or Nothing. OOC: Now 3 things will run simultaneously: - Shin's Necron Operations (no prob to state things during times that happened already like the Tyranid landing, or short before like during Krauz speech, etc.) - Hive Ship Infiltration - Allied NPCs vs. Tyranids
"inquisitor i feel the shadow" as tempestus spoke he took his helm off and switched his psychic hoods power outage "i will try my best but im not sure how well i will do" as he spoke he put the helm back on
"Aye, Librarian. Just do not let the Hive Mind overwhelm you, neither try to attack it, stay close to Stevanus and me. You have withstood so far, I am sure you will further." Krauz said, laying a hand on Tempestus' shoulder as their Thunderhawk launched out of the Hammer of Faith, the Black Strike Cruiser moving forwards to provide cover fire as the Transport ship embarked.
"OPEN FIRE LET NOT THE TYRANITE LIVE FOR THE OMNISSAH AND FOR MACRAGGE AND FOR THE FIRST COMPANY!" I get my bolter ready and aim for what look like leaders and open fire
OOC: Last order was that ALL Deathwatch members are to be used in the Thunderhawk, except for Shin and Sirius..... (and whyever you hail for Macragge and their 1st company if you are a successor of the salamanders lolz)
tempestus put his hand on the thunder hawk and started speeking in hushed words as his psychic hood powerd up and he watched as the others looked on "ive spread the psychic hoods effect as much as it will hopefully they wont notice us"
Chaplain was calm. This was serious now. More serious than anything before in his life. He tried to recollect his memories. Battles against vile Eldar and their dark kin, boarding actions against Arch-traitors and last stands amidst daemon infested worlds were just a few things Stevanus went through during his time. But this was different. First time in his entire life, there was no Flesh Tearers around to join him in his savagery. Now there were only his new comrades here and Chaplain felt like a completely different person. He looked upon each and every passenger: Tempestus working his psychic abilities, looking grim as ever. Valonox doing his routine check of gear, praying silently to Omnissiah for help in the upcoming battle. Rafikiel inspecting his heavy bolter and inscription on it, looking ready for battle. Nathaniel, pulling lighting claws in and out, obviously eager for combat. Noctis, looking calm as ever, holding his heavy bolter in one hand and placing the other on his chest, saying prayers for the Emperor for guidance. Young Cassius moving anxiously in his seat, obviously wanting to prove his worth to other Marines. Tsu'had, focused on task at hand, sat calmly and watched others the same way Stevanus did. And lastly Krauz, who sat opposite to him, his mood relaxed but Chaplain could notice Inquisitor was tense. Huge weight has fallen on his shoulders, and even though he didn't want to show it to others, Chaplain understood. "Do not worry my friend Inquisitor, we will succeed, even if it costs us our lives, but mark my words, we shall be triumphant. Team Lightbringer is ready for your command" Stevanus spoke and leaned back in his seat, waiting for them to reach the Hive ship. Ill Omen hungers...
"just do me a favour chaplin when this battle ends dont have any regrets" as tempestus spoke he switched his helets vox off so that none could here his chant as he then drew his sword and started placing power into it
