Continuing south Alviss fires his flamer back at the Skitarii in an attempt to obscure their shot, as he occasionally dodges in an erratic pattern. The entire time keeping an eye open for anything to aid him in either destroying or evading his foes.
Marius triggers a blast from his Bolter's underslung Plasma Gun at the firing Skitarii closest to Alviss before sending two aimed bursts from his Bolter at the second Skitarii. "Brothers follow the Iron Priest we cannot allow ourselves to get bogged down by these wretches!" Marius reloaded as he charged after the Space Wolf
Linkin finds himself in a poorly lighted room, on the wall written. "Testing Area - Macragge". As he looked behind himself he could see that he was quiet lucky with his escape, having detonated quite a piece out of the wall as the Vents were really within the walls, just a bit less explosives and it would have not been enough to make a big enough hole for the Astartes to leap through. To the east he could see a long long tunnel, ending with some kind of sealed door. To the west he could see relatively close the end of the corridor, ending in a turn towards north. A bit towards east was also a terminal glowing slightly, being apparently in standby or something. The tunnels looked relatively standard for Imperial structure, just that they weren't build by standards with claw marks along the walls and other projectiles, perhaps inflicted through Tau or Eldar. Alviss couldn't spot any integrity weakness, but a tool that could aid him! There was a console nearby, ready to be used by anyone who was able to interact with the Machine Spirit. Alviss, while escaping was almost hit by a Skitarii that aimed on him, but the enemy did not expect a Plasma Gun firing upon him from the side, melting through his body and disabling the Skitarii where it stood. But more approached with heavier weaponry and started to fire upon Marius as he was the more immediate danger. Mixed Flames and Bolter fire flying in his direction, aiming for chest and head alike, the super-precision of the Skitarii not showing mercy upon the Astartes.
Alviss immediately goes to console and begins checking which systems were available to him, looking especially for security systems or door controls.
The main securities were password protected, but for that Alviss spotted a command which was called "Sealing". Other commands were "View map" and "Skitarii Update 9.1.2.4.3.9.6449205 - Anti-Astartes tactics"
Making certain his squad mates would be clear of the blast and they were Marius pulled out a Krak Grenade and primed it with a 4 second delay before tossing it into the midst of the group of Skitarii where it landed on the floor before exploding before Marius could observe his handiwork he fell back even further to guard Alviss as he set to work on the wall console.
OOC: I just assume everyone starts retreating towards Alviss over the west-corridor rather than fighting.
"Work fast brother, I'll guard you!" shouted Stevanus and stood between Alviss and the advancing Skitarii, Crozius glowing in his hand. He turned to the Skitarii forces, and while slowly retreating he growled through the grill, his skull helm vox amplifying the sound: "Come now, weak minded fools and feel the wraith of the Emperors Chosen!"
As the rest of the squad catches up, Alviss activates the sealing command. That done he donwloads the map data and Skitarii update data to transmit to the squad.
