"We've come to inspect the planitary defence forces." - said Rafikiel without stopping. As he looked at the surroundings, he then asked: "Servitor, what is the overall status of the defencive systems and where can we find those in charge of them?"
The Guardsman fainted as the huge hand of the Devastator touched his shoulder, covering it all and almost his whole upper arm too, as he feared to be crushed into little pieces. As the mighty Astartes stepped along the Landing Pads all eyes were glued on them, factory workers, miners, administrators and the guardsmen had all their eyes glued on them as they walked in and out of the building. The first person inside that looked like someone with a clue was a slim, small-grown human administrator officer who was according to her name-tag at the desk called 'Lydia Reed'. "How may I help you?" She asked, not even looking up but having heard the heavy steps which approached them. She was busy filling in some reports as it seemed to the look of Shin, all he could see were numbers, many many numbers.
"Defensive Systems, working." The Servitor reported and then quickly pointed to the west of the landing pad. "Planetary Defense Forces Headquarters are located at the end of the landing pad down that way, beneath the bunker entrance." The Servitor replied and approached the Thunderhawk, starting to refuel it and do other duties. As the Imperial Fist and Salamander looked towards west they could easily now see what appeared to be the PDF Headquarters. It was a regular Bunker entrance which was somewhat good fortified, it looked stable and well protected with weapons sticking out and turrets built around and an anti-air cannon mounted at the top.
They all were quite confused at first but then the Colonel's father spoke up. "The so called Xenos infestation I assume you speak of which is according to the Ordo Xenos occurring on our world?" He asked, his face stating nothing, his mind clear and his son, Felix Steiner standing storng behind him with similar face.
Shin smiled warmly at the woman until she actually looks up at him, then said, "Hello, where may I find Martin Frey Jr.?"
"The Capital is clean, there are no steps to be taken." The Regent replied and the Inquisitor walked over to the table, sitting down on the throne that belonged to the Governor, who apparently fell asleep against the column or passed out, but whatever it was, he was snoring loud. The Colonel's face became a bit darker, but the Regent remained calm. 'What about the sudden increase of wealth among the leaders of each city....' Felix thought as he was listening to the conversation, the Inquisitor giving a bored look as he was looking around the interior.
She was ready to answer and then was quite impressed by the looks of that man infront of him. "What did you eat to grow that tall?" She asked and giggled soft, pointing down the north corridor. "His office is left to the one with the golden trims, which belongs to his father." Her face was smooth and pure, her age around mid-twenties the Astartes would have to guess.
