When all of his team entered the thunderhawk and they were well on their way to the Mining City, Shin Zhu spoke up since take off. "Time is our enemy on this mission, therefore we must make the most of what we have. I am not sure of the current attitude among the population, but I am willing to think that they lack the discipline of those inhabitants of Macregge or Edo. So here's what I propose." The Ronin turns to Noctis, "Brother devastator, I want you to take over the training and recruitment of all defense forces of the city, with the exception of the armored divisions (vehicles). Anyone who can hold and fire a lasgun will report immediately for training and duty. You will also work with local authorities to maintain order in the city among those civilians left. I will issue a curfew of sundown for anyone not part of or contributing to the defense force. Use any force you see fit to complete your task, so long as the defense lines of anti infantry and anti armor units can form coherent and effective killboxes when the Tyranids hit (and not break at first contact). You will have command of the local commissars to assist you as well." He then moves to Valonox, "Brother Techmarine, you shall be in charge of all vehicle units of the city, as well as any automated defenses on the line. All enginseers and tech-priests available, by the Emperor, any one who can do more than put a door up in a house will be under your direct command. Do what you need to do to get heavy fire support and vehicles to bolster the defense lines. You are also in charged of all logistics in the city as soon as we touch down and rendezvous with the local leaders. This includes direct control of any existing comms relay, or the construction of one if there isn't one in the city. Communication will be key in this mission. I look to you for the smooth transfers of everything from lasgun clips and simple food rations to artillery rounds within the city limit. Conscript assistants as you see fit, but try to not take from the ranks that are training under Noctis if you can. He looks at both Valonox and Noctis, "Brothers, you two will be working closely together to form a defense line capable of holding back the endless tide with what we have. I would like you two to begin talking and working out the details of that task now, because without near perfect cooperation between you two we will all most likely die before the year ends. I have great faith in both your abilities however, and I know by the grace of the Emperor you will succeed. If any... obstacles arise to the completion of your task, you have my permission to remove them with any force you deem necessary. We do not have the time to play politics here; uncooperative behaviors by any in the city to our instructions the moment we touch down is amount to treason, and should be dealt with as such. I shall announce martial law to be in effect as soon as I can, if it's not in effect already." Finally the Ronin turns to Nathaniel and simply smiles. "Brother Angel of Baal, you're with me. We're going hunting." To concluded the plan, Shin Zhu announces, "If anyone sees, hears or even feels anything out of place, report directly to or Brother Nathaniel here. Do not be diverted from your objectives if a threat seems to appear. Anything less than a mass chaos cult uprising should be left to the search and destroy team of Nathaniel and I. Focus on the defenses and getting the city ready for the attack. This will perhaps be the hardest part of what I ask you, but know that all our lives, and the success of this mission, will rest upon those defense lines. Emperor guide us now brothers."
OOC: gonna post deployment stuff, save for 'Team Shin Zhu', here Jester or anyone else may post an 'arrival' post as they see fit. Phase #3 - Deployment The Inquisitor, Stevanus, Tempestus, Tsu'had and Rafikiel were onboard the black inquisitoral Thunderhawk which was first to take off and make planetfall. It headed straight for the Governor's palace landing pad and they saw a few other luxury shuttles on the other landing pads. "Royals from the other cities." Inquisitor Krauz suspected out loud and sighed. "Okay here is the plan, Stevanus say nothing until I order you to, scare the crap out of them with your skull mask and Power Axe, do whatever you think may provoke or scare them, just don't open your mouth, be as hard as a rock and as extreme as an executioner." He said to the Chaplain and quickly turned to Tempestus. "Tempestus, you will read EVERYONE's mind, I do not care if there would be even Tigurius himself! If there is anyone able to resist your powers, send Stevanus to take him in prison. Other than that, talk as you please and even interrupt me if you like, try to be the nice guy of us and be understanding and even defend them, perhaps you can earn some trust and they will tell you things they wouldn't tell me." Krauz then stood up as the Thunderhawk landed. "Tsu'had and Rafikiel, I fear you have to do as the Chaplain said during the briefing, start searching throughout the capital for the Xenos or Heretic Infiltrators and inspect the defenses." Then he made his first steps towards the ramp which opened. Directly greeted by some servant to offer him something he just walked past, ignoring him. With Stevanus and Tempestus behind him he approached the large doors of the Governor's palace which was covered in more gold than the average palace. The Governor was gathered with some fat people, one athletic looking person and some others around a huge round table, he was sitting on a throne which made him stand out of all of them. "Inquisitor! Join us! Join us!" He greeted Krauz, being obviously drunk as he broke out in random laughter, the others joining him save for the athletic person. "Governor... You seem to have started quite a feast for my arrival." Krauz said, looking upon the table seeing everything as good as eaten, with no leftovers. "Please excuse Lord Ramsa Kolos, he drank a glass too much." The athletic person said as he stood up and saluted. "Also let me introduce myself, my name is Colonel Felix Steiner, leader of planetary defense forces, Lord Inquisitor!" He saluted and caused Krauz to smile. "At least one with a good attitude so far!" Krauz said, glaring at the Governor who stood up slowly, having trouble with his balance due to his obesity and being drunk. The Colonel rushed over to support him, with his tall, muscular body he was even able to do that. "I.... Iam *hick* Lord Governor *hick* Ramsa Kolos! *hick* uhm... *hick* Imperial Regent! *hick* of Ruvorn." he attempted somewhat to salute, Krauz shaking his head mentally but not doing it physically as he glared upon him. "What kind of joke is this, if I may ask?!" Krauz yelled angry, his voice echoing and booming through the halls. "I am Lord Inquisitor Harald Krauz of the Ordo Xenos!" His voice was merciless and shocked all, save for the Colonel who seemed to have infact a smirk on his face and slowly let go of the Governor. "No need to *hick* yell, Inquisitor." The fat Governor said, looking for support just to find himself holding on the shoulder of Krauz, he slapped his hand away. "Do not touch me with your filthy hands, fat bastard." Krauz said ice-cold and without support the Governor would be crushing against the ground, the others at the table started to whisper with eachother. OOC: leaving room for input from Tempestus or Stevanus ~~North-West City~~ Sirius changed within the freighter, pulling a full-body hood over his massive body, it was light-brown as if resembling the colors of the T'au main sept which is most common seen against the Imperium of Mankind. The Freighter had landed in some industry sector of the city on some random landing pad, camouflaged as some supplies for someone specific, Sirius was out of the Freighter before anyone could ask him and leave the trouble with the Pilot onboard. Sirius Jules went out and knew already where to start his search, he headed for the best looking place and sneaked inside. After 5-10 minutes through the alleys of the Hive-Agri City he reached the more luxury places, staying hidden from the idiotic Guards he made it easily into a mansion. He broke in through an open window which was the office of one of the accountants or something, he did not care and just punched the woman in the face, knocking her out. He then was walking through the mansion, knocking out everyone he faced as the Apothecary was heading to the main office of the person who owned the mansion. OOC: Just will update his progress here and there.
Chaplain removed Ill Omen from his scabbard and leaned on it, while turning his Skull helm towards the Lord Governor and fixing him with his red eye-lenses...
Shin Zhu thought for a moment, and also added, "Noctis and Valonox, we'll also need the establish some sort of formal medical facility on the ground. All four of us will need to be at 100% when the attack comes or we stand 0% chance of victory. I look to you two brothers for that as well." His eyes scanned across the thunderhawk, "Any questions?"
"No questions, brother Ronin. I am obliged to you for placing your trust in me. I promise to safeguard you and obey your commands without question." He kept silent until the landing. When the marines unstrapped themselves and proceeded to the exit, Nathaniel took the opportunity to whisper to Shin Zhu, without anybody else noticing it: "We didn't have much time to get to know each other on our previous mission, but I have no doubts you are aware of my...problems. Now that Stevanus is not here for the first time, I will do all I can to resist them, but if things turn bad just knock me out. I tend to calm siginficantly once I am awake." he than saluted and spoke in a louder voice, while leaving the transport "I won't let you down, brother!"
OOC: I'll wait until later today to disembark the dropship and rendezvous with the city's administration, just to give Valonox (Urian/Mercigone) and Noctis (Aragon) a chance to reply if they have any questions on the plan. If they both reply I'll try to post as soon as possible. Otherwise I'll assume no one had any questions and continue with the mission.
