Nathaniel payed no mind to Tempestus' warning. He looked at Stevanus and said: "Well said, brother-commander. This was meant to honour our dead brothers and strengthen our oaths. But there is no better strengthening in this Galaxy, than spilling the blood of the enemies of Mankind. Stay safe! My wings won't cover you this time. I want to see you here after this mission, alive and well. You are yet to return my golden Icon back to me." He smiled and headbutted the Chaplain, than left the briefing room, slapping the armor of the brothers who were within his reach. OOC: @The Lord Watchman - Nathaniel does these things almost involuntary, he is unstable like that. So no matter how much you warn him, he doesn't see this as something wrong and kinda forgets it the moment it is over @Colapse - you came up with this weird headbutt tradition, but I intend to keep it
OOC: Before Nathaniel left. "To touch a brother like that under Sons of Guilliman is an even greater dishonour, instead of solving your issues with word, you haste for an attack. Are you too brute to communicate, is that what the flaws of Sanguinius is about?" Sirius sounded as neutral as ever, wiping his armor clean as if the touch of the Blood Angel tainted it with dirt. "Then again, we are not among the Fleet of the Sons of Guilliman." He did not even bother a second anymore with him and went for his chamber to ready Durandal for the upcoming mission, also going over a copy of the codex and Tau records.
"The sons of Dorn settle disputes by an old chapter tradition which too involves the spilling of blood - in the most honorable means possible, ofcourse." - said Rafikiel; raising an eyebrow, he added: "I could introduce you to it and if need be, I will be your arbiter."
As Shin was just about to leave for the void docks, Sirius approached him, after having completed his own rites of battle and required preperation. "Ronin." Sirius said as he approached him from behind, them being alone in the hallway. "I just wanted to wish you luck, keep the Blood Angel in check, I fear he will ruin battles the moment he loses his temper like before and you as a master of the sword is perhaps the only one of us able to stop him in case he goes complete rampage." Sirius was neutral sounding all the time. "That is all."
Shin Zhu smiled as they walk towards the void docks, "Thank you for your concern Sirius, I'll keep your words in mind. Emperor keep you on your path as well brother."
"Aye, may the Emperor keep us all on our paths...." Sirius said as they were reaching the void docks. He approached Stevanus. "I will stay in contact and will report if anything should be amiss, but do not worry Chaplain-Brother, I will be fine." Sirius saluted then and headed for his designated Freighter. Krauz was already in the Thunderhawk, sitting on the co-pilots chair, waiting for the rest of the Deathwatch to get into their transports.
Shin Zhu gets on to his transport and waits for the rest of his squad to arrive, patently going over the steps in the basic striking and dodging maneuvers of the Way of the Blade in his mind.
Noctis boarded the transport after Shin. "You think I'll be able to hold onto this bolter?" Noctis joked.
OOC: I guess all agree if I go for time jump, or should I wait until I head to bed for the deployment?
