"I merely wished to let you know I am feeling well again and am ready to continue with the Deathwatch." Noctis replied.
"That is good to hear brother" smiled Chaplain. "Are you thinking on becoming permanent member of our team?"
"I do not know that, that is my place brother." He stated pointing to the rune around his neck. "I still have close friends on Fenris, and... Other places. But I shall stay as long as I am needed."
The Inquisitor nodded towards Stevanus and Tempestus then replied to Noctis. "Bad sleep, much stress." he simply answered, just then Sirius, Axion and Nathaniel (sry Hokken, just accelerating xD) answered one after another, Nathaniel first after his Flesh-Tearer cousin spoke. "I will stay on the side of my brother who I swore an oath to until the oath is fulfilled." Sirius was next. "I came here with a reason and until I accomplished my personal goal I shall stay within this kill-team, Inquisitor." Axion stood up and spoke up. "I have goals to end the fights between Xenos and Imperium, but I think I would prefer to be transferred to another Kill-Team." Krauz nodded. After a short while also Valonox spoke up, as if he was thoroughly thinking about it. "As member of the Adeptus Mechanicus but first and most important I am a member of the Adeptus Astartes, I decide to stay for a bit longer, Inquisitor." OOC: just to be complete as who stays in Deathwatch Kill-Team Lightbringer: Tempestus - The Lord Watchman (permanent member) ; Stevanus - Colapse (permanent leader) ; Nathaniel Lorenzo - Hokken (permanent member ; at least until death of Stevanus) ; Tsu'had Drakken - Cousintp (not permanent member) ; Valonox Falmer - Merciegone (not permanent member) ; Shin Zhu - WanderingJester (permanent member with intention to become a Keeper) ; Sirius Jules - Myself (not permanent member) ; Noctis - AragonShadslayer (not permanent member)
"Alright, if that is your choice, so be it" Chaplain said. "Your bolter and wise council will always be welcomed" Stevanus said with a smile.

Flaws: 1. Anti-ranged Proficiency aka Lousy shot - because of the great focus on melee part of the combat, Stevanus uses ranged weapons with a skill of an Ork. 2. Anti-Codex Adherent - Stevanus doesn't really value Codex Astartes and its wisdom, he follows it loosely and he is more likely to fall in bad reputation with those who follow it. Chapter Trait / Flaw: Curse of Sanguinius - can gain super-human strength, easily beyond even an Astartes, though he is in constant danger to fall to the Red Thirst or Black Rage Mission#1 Trait/Flaw: Blood Bond - with Nathaniel Lorenzo, is protected to death by his Blood Angel Brother after they swore an oath to eachother. Bloodlust (both Trait and Flaw) - Additional bonuses in Melee and need for drinking blood, resulting in disregard to Codex Astartes wherever a command stops him from destroying every enemy on sight (he's also very prone to Black Rage). Chapter Trait / Flaw: Curse of Sanguinius - can gain super-human strength, easily beyond even an Astartes, though he is in constant danger to fall to the Red Thirst or Black Rage Mission#1 Trait/Flaw: Blood Bond - with Stevanus, protects his Flesh Tearer Brother to the death after they swore an oath to eachother. Imperial Citizens in need of help cannot be ignored, flame-based weapons are more efficient Mission #2 Trait/Flaw: Weak to Psy Powers - Tsu'had is more vulnerable to Warp sorcery than the average Astartes.

Name: Shin Zhu - Player Wandering Jester Class: Assault Chapter: The Ronins (Founding Chapter - White Scars) Equipment: - Power Katana (Name: Razagone, pronounced ra-za-gon-ne) - Power Wakizashi (Name: Osorenai, pronounced o-so-ren-ny-e) - Tanto (Name: Jima. Combat knife sized dagger, made with the same folding steel as the Katana and Wakizashi, but no power field around it) - Mark VII Aquila Power Armor/robed - Repair Cement Traits: Sons of Jaghatai (Chapter Trait): Increase proficiency in assault bike combat, as well as the general controls of an assault bike, such as driving in a snowstorm or chasing someone/something during adverse conditions Master of the Blade: A century of practice and warfare have made Shin Zhu into a master with melee swords. Honoring the Art of War from Edo, the master waits patiently in combat, allowing his opponent to strike and weave as long as possible until the correct time to strike. The way of war teaches that even the strongest opponents can be fell with a single, precise strike, and Zhu have honed this teaching for decades. Arguably one of the best swordsmen in the Known Universe, Zhu can outfight nearly all oppoents with a blade in his hand (This dramatic increased in proficiency only applies with swords: chain, power, primative. It does not apply with other melee weapons but the effects dramatically increase even more when Zhu uses Razagone or Osorenai) Swift as the Tempest Strikes: In melee, while Zhu waits patently for the right opportunity to strike, he does not simply stand there and be hit by his enemies. Most strikes simply misses, and those that don't are deflected by the power blade in his hand. During melee, melee strikes that come at the Ronin have a very high percentage to miss or parried. This only applies to blows that Zhu can see coming. This does not apply to range attacks, although Zhu can close the distance very quickly and strike even faster against range opponents than normal astartes ever could (he doesn't have a jump pack, therefore I'm including this effect). Honorable: The Ronins treats everyone in the Imperium fairly and with respect, even when that feeling is not always mutual. This allows Zhu to have a very positive reputation amongst all forces of the Imperium, but especially with certain factions such as Sons of Guilliman and the Space Wolves (I can explain why if you want, but I won't include it here for space issues) Psychic Resistance: After his face off against the Lord of Change, Zhu had both been experienced enough and also discipline enough afterwards to build his psychic resistance against all psyker attacks. Zhu gains an additional resistance against psychic attacks and illusions, and has a bonus on penetrating through psychic tricks and mind bends both by those of the warp and of the Imperium. Flaws: Easy to trust, easy to deceive: Self explanatory, but only applies to Imperium forces. Death before Dishonor: Zhu cannot refuse a challenge to a dual by an enemy, at any point in time. Even if it is tremendously disadvantageous or compromising to the mission, he has to accept the challenge and fight the said challenger at that moment in time. Way of the Blade: The teachings of the warrior prevents Zhu from using anything outside of melee weapons. The Ronin will not wield any range weapons from the simple las pistol to a plasma cannon. He also will not fire any mounted weapons on vehicles either or use combat shield/storm shields in combat at any time, considering them dishonorable and below the ways of a proper warrior. Mission #2 Trait/Flaw: Super Sprint - The Ronin is able to move extremely quick from one position to another, though only if he splits from the rest of the team Name: Sirius Jules - Player Urian Velos Chapter-Origin: Sons of Guilliman (Ultramarine successors) Traits: Tau-fascination: - Sirius is fascinated with the Tau and doesn't miss a chance to loot samples (especially Commanders and Etherreals) Close Combat Expert: - Sirius is an expert with Melee Weapons and focuses to slay his enemies with his Chainsword rather than a Bolter Flaws: Bad Ranged Combat: - hits bad with any ranged weapon Chapter Trait / Flaw: Codex Adherence - Most Ultramarine successors and many other chapters (such as the Red Scorpions) follow the Codex closely, this can cause tactical advantage and clear chain of command, but also is problematic with less adherent chapters as they appear in Codex followers rather as savage beasts, than true warriors. Cybernetics / Implants: - Cybernetic Right Eye Equipment: - Mark VIII Errant Power Armour, modified for Apothecari use. -- Modifications include: --- Cybernetic Eye customized to scan life forms and their bio-feed --- Additional utility belt slots to store gene-seed / bio-samples (less space for ammo / grenades) --- Narthecium Master Crafted Chainsword (named Durandal) (Regular) Bolt Pistol 1 Frag Grenade, 1 Krak Grenade Apothecary Equipment: - First Aid Kit (including Adrenaline Injections, Blood Infusion / Transfusion, etc.) - 5 Containers for Samples / Gene-Seed Mission #2 Trait/Flaw: Eldar Physiology - Novice: Has somewhat experience with Eldar bodies and how to treat them / take them apart Noctis - player AragonShadslayer Class: Devastator Chapter: Space Wolves --Equipment: Heavy Bolter Bolt Pistol Tactical Knife Frag Grenade Krak Grenade Blind Grenade - Mark VII Aquila Power Armor -- Rune from Eldritch ; Eye of Isha -- Trait: Ranged Profession (better ranged combat) Relentless (higher accuracy while standing and better than usual while moving) Craftworld - Eldar Knowledge --Flaws: Bad Melee Fighter (decreased efficiency in melee combat) Dislikes combat with Eldar Chapter Trait / Flaw: Curse of the Wulfen - can fall to the curse of the Wulfen and become a savage beast ; also increased senses. Rafikiel - player Rafikiel Class: Devastator Chapter: Imperial Fists Armor: Mark VII Aquila Weapons: Astartes Heavy Bolter, Astartes Bolt Pistol, Astartes Combat knive. Equipment: 3 Krak and 3 Frag Grenades, Hand bones for display upon the armor. Traits: - Eagle eye (better aim, also can better spot what lies hidden) - Protector (takes less damage if taking fire for someone else) - Demolition expert (more efficient in use of grenades and planting bombs ; does not count for explosive weapons such as rocket launcher) Flaws: -Not efficient in hand-to-hand combat (takes more damage and hits worse in melee) -Extreme hatred for orks (will pursue and kill on sight even if it’s against direct orders) Background: Rafikiel was born and recruited on the world of Inwit. His first assignment as young member of his chapter was to be deployed on one of the many ork infested worlds. There he fought along his brothers from the successor chapter of the Crimson Fists and there he developed a strong sense of respect and admiration for their chapter. The fight with the orks proved to be long and intense and at the end Rafikiel’s hate towards the greenskins had become extreme and passionate. During his service, Rafikiel became known amongst his brothers for his exceptional calm and discipline in fierce battles. As a Devastator Astartes, Rafikiel has been awarded with several carved hand bones which are usually displayed on his armor and serve as proof for his superb capabilities. Whenever Rafikiel is not in battle, he indulges himself in different methods of self-discipline and prayers which are intended to strengthen his will and readiness in battle. Chapter Trait / Flaw: Masters of Siege - Special knowledge about how to infiltrate, attack and destroy fortresses, also very skilled in how to setup defenses Cassius - player Brinx Name: Cassius from the Blood Ravens Chapter Class: Tactical Marine Loadout / Gear: Bolter (Tigrus - Type, modified by Mechanicum of the Chapter, see traits) MK8 Power Armor Special Ammunition: - Kraken (Penetrating) - Dragonfire (Usefull against Enemies in cover) - Tempest (EMP) - Metalstorm (like a "small" grenade, explodes in front of enemy and releases shrapnel - splinter) Astartes Combat Knife 2x Krak / Frag Grenades Auspex Bolt Pistol Traits (Simplified): Expertise (Bolter): Higher Precision with Bolter and Ammotypes. Slightly higher Damage. Tactical Drill: Allows Cassius to find cover, even under harder circumstances. Armor Maintenance: Allows to repair his own power armor. Only "easy" Repairs. Flaws: I just need my Bolter: Cassius WON'T use any other Weapon. He loves his Bolter. If the Case needs him to carry another weapon, his accuracy sinks, because he dind't trained that hardwith other weapons, like his brothers. Especially Plasma Weapons are something "different" to him, not knowing all dangers of an unstable Plasma Core. --- Reduced Accuracy for every other Weapon (NOT Bolter, Boltpistol and Stormbolter). Plasma Weapons are more vulnerable to explode / melt. Greed for Knowledge (Chapter Flaw): Cassius isn't immune to the "Sickness" his Chapter owns. He is looking for every kind of Wisdom, especially Warp, Demons, Occultism and the History of the Empire and his Chapter. (Warp Stuff: He want's to know how Azariah Kyras was possesed by a Demon, thats the reason he wants to collect dem shit) --- Doesn't listen to Orders if: Knowledge (Imperium of Man or Chapter) is lootable --- Try's to get: Knowledge (Warp, Daemons, Occlutism). Get's careless if he reads these/ watches these. OOC: Will start Briefing for next mission in an hour or so, until then feel free to do whatever you guys want.
"You flatter me Chaplain." Noctis said, smiling. "Do you have any friends outside the Deathwatch? Family?" Noctis asked.
Shin Zhu, seeing that Sirius was getting quite tired, excused himself and returned to practice in his little corner in the practice area. He absorbed himself back into the movements of his body and the wooden swords once more.
