While nothing could be seen out here while watching the perimeter, in his gut Chaplain knew that things are going to turn ugly real soon, real fast. He unsheathed his Crozius Arcanum and waited in silence while others examined the metal floor.
The machine spirit guided the Iron Priest among a trail, as if guiding him to a secret that was only meant for him, leading him slowly but certain to the other side of the crater, then it just remained there as if telling the Iron Priest to find the spirit. In the meanwhile the others of the Deathwatch were still focused on the only little part of the metal that was exposed to their eyes.
Linkin watched from on top of the crater's edge down at the puzzled marines as the techmarine trails away from them. Idiots, he thought as he opened up a vox channel, "Iron Priest, what do you see?"
"The machine spirit seems to indicate the way forward is over here." Calls out Alviss as he continues to walk.
"Roger that, I'll continue to provide overwatch." Linkin replied as he continues to be ready, expecting an ambush at any moment.
The Iron Priest spots a small console glittering in the wall of the crater, he saw it with luck as it's display was reflecting only for the brink of a second through the moonshine of the sister-moon.
The squad quickly catches up to the Iron Priest and eats up the distance to the area the spirit had point out to Alviss now they waited for the Iron Priest to open the way into the facility. OOC: Srry if I am rushing everyone but this is starting to get a mite bit boring
