OOC: enough playing around here, time for some time jump! *otherwise you guys just keep walking for hours! XD* The Deathwatch squad makes it within 12 minutes at the top of the crater which is said to contain the secret facility. No traps or any kind of alert seem to had been activated, also no psi activity or energy was sensed by any of the members, they were as clueless as before, but for that they reached their destination and were to continue with their investigation.
Marius started slogging his way up the crater's slope with the rest of the squad not far behind as he and Linkin made steady progress upwards. Marius at last clambered up onto the lip of the crater and crouched down to reduce his silhouette which was not as bad because of the black painted wargear they all wore. He was shocked by what he saw as he gazed at the Governor's secret facility not because of its size or scale but because he simply couldn't see it. "Brothers this bodes ill for us I believe." Marius rumbled to the rest of the squad. OOC: Srry Urian it took me a few mins to get this typed up and I was trying to take to account the others posts
OOC: there are no bunkers or buildings on the outside, just plain nothingness (otherwise it would be only half secret as it is)
"now that is not right" as tempestus spoke he looked around "if this is a secret facility it seames to be an unused one" as he spoke he looked for the quickest way down the crater
"When in doubt go forwards." says Alviss as he climbs over the edge of the crater and begins sliding down.
"Aye he's right." Marius barked into the Vox network before following the Iron Priest over the edge doing his best to keep and eye on the crater floor as they all make the descent.
As they arrive at the bottom they still cannot sense anything, except.... on one step Tempestus caused a metal sound as his boot met the ground, but the same was not to be said where Alviss and Marius walked.
