    The clang system should be reworked with the tier system more so you feel the benefit of having a heavier weapon.

    No more deny 100% all melee attacks unless you're wielding the same tier weapon. Weapon tier too high? Say goodbye to your swinging arm. (AKA the Fist is going to tear your knife arm out of it's socket) Work Penetration into this also as you could probably cut straight through a knife.

    As for Penetration... for Khorne's sake why is it so damn low for melee weapons? With the exception of Eldar possibly, all the other factions can RAISE toughness beyond 120... Power Weapons should at least be 10-20 points higher as many loadouts allow toughness of 130 to 150 while still retaining 120+ armor.

    Power weapons got an indrect nerf during the whole toughness/pen rebalance fiasco. When Chainswords and choppas were 80 pen power weapons were 120. When base melee weapons got raised to 100 power weapons stayed at 120. Theres a few other weapons that got left in the dust with this as well. Big Shoota got changed mostly because people yelled a lot about it.

  3. Not to mention the fact that all Axes got totally screwed over. All axes have the same AP as their sword equivalents. Back during Alpha Axes had HIGHER ARMOUR PENETRATION than swords.

    What we have now and one of several reasons why Axes are so crappy.

    1. All Power Swords have the same AP as Power Axe
    2. All Force Swords have the same AP as Force Axe
    3. All Chain Swords have the same AP as Chain Axe

    That's bogus IMO and yet another reason why Axes are garbage. Axes should have higher AP than their lighter, faster swinging sword equivalents(in the same category).

    Though Axes and Mauls will still never be viable until they swing a bit faster like they did back during Alpha. We also need evade attacks to work quickly instead of taking a full second and half to wind up and swing an axe AFTER we come out of a roll. That's a death sentence.
