So guys I was thinking. We really need to get the Death Guard into this game. They are my my favorite chaos legion and plague marines, or at least a rot color scheme, would be awesome. Really I'm just kind of concerned that we wont be able to change our legion once this game releases. We ARE locked into that factions color scheme after all. Anyone else think or worried about this?
IIRC the devs said that when a new faction or subfaction is introduced to EC existing players will be able to change a character to the new faction/subfaction
I have a feeling that if the specific God-Aligned Legions appear it will be later on in game, then again there's nothing wrong with going Black Legion if you have to. Those guys are more a mix of the Legions now than an actually "pure," Legion in themselves.
Just to cement the thread with a source: "I don't know if you already got the answer to this or not, but if we offer chapters/legions/craftworlds/clans after launch we pretty much have to give you some sort of option to change or we'll be in trouble. It might be only when you get access to a new one for example, because we don't want people hopping around all the time." Brents profile page/comment page 4 And yes i want my DG in, not just cause i like their lore but also cause i dislike any current legion colors, they just dont go well with rot and corrosion in my eyes. Black Legion is passable.....but i want the real thing.
Yeah the developers should allow us to change one character one time. Though I'm sure you'd have to respec all your traits you've picked up. I wonder how armor and things of the sort will transfer over as well. It's completely doable but will take some sort of effort.
At least it seems we'll have the option to change Legions after a new one's release. Also a big fan of the Death Guard, and was saddened to see that they weren't included as a playable Legion (alongside the Thousand Sons). Here's to hoping we get them eventually!
Well, why don't we build a strike force with Nurgle-dedicated Black Legion marines and call it "The Black Flies" or some shit? 8) Or is it a thing already, somebody already on it?
Cult legions have been confirmed for a post launch addition. I can't make my mind up between Thousand Sons and Death Guard, both are incredibly cool.
