Thanks for making the game first off keep up the development please......... I paid a lot of money into this game....besides that.. The maps are amazing that you have created as a 40K fan the lore of books and the tabletop are put right into my computer for a warzone every night enjoy. what bothers me the most about the maps is we don't get to enjoy them if we want to play the game yes I do wander off looking around at the amazing scenery but that doesn't help my team. Please please add some objectives to the maps so we can enjoy your efforts you put in and built, I remember in alpha we had trenches to actually run that was fun and what's the point of vindicators anymore if there is underground tunnels or already blown out gates???? Thanks
Your statement foes from thanking the devs to complaining about the scenery in retrospective of the map, not the best. Besides that yes I like some of the mAps and they are all decent sized. Alternative or side obj would make the entire map good. But later implementation has been unofficially conferred by Brent and Nathan in past streams. How it turns out we shall see
Precisely. The maps look nice and all and are big, but useless. There is so much space that is wasted on the maps that players never interact with. As well most maps have either too many entry points or not enough. Good map design creates a good ebb and flow to the battle. However in Eternal Crusade all the capture the 3 point maps are cancer as most of the map is never fought over or used to create a front line. You merely just avoid combat and ninja cap as much as possible. The slow push maps with attacker/defender are a bit nicer but again have lots of the map unused and when it comes to choke points like the cathedrals (epic fortress maps) there's no other ways in aside from the front door. And ya, Vindicators pretty much don't have a use outside of getting the front door down but you can do that with melta weapons anyway, so who cares.
At Blackbolt A and B there are some people who think they are funny by the virtue of shooting heavy ordnance right into the rooms.
Wait...this is a problem? If they can find an angle and a firing line and aren't instantly melted by the wave of people looking for that sweet sweet 500XP kill /280something assist then I give them massive credit for using their tools in interesting ways
It might be a problem if there are some of your allies inside, trying to capture the point. Otherwise I say go for it.
