And I will keep downvoting this game because aside from a buggy, laggy, low performing, subpar shooter, you cannot cap points in this game. As soon as any small skirmish breaks out over a point there's no reason to keep having an epic fight there. Just move on. It becomes a case of run around the map and avoid fighting more than outplaying/outgunning the opponent. There's no point to fighting cuz the melee system is trash and as soon as more than 1 person shows up its over. In other shooters a good player can outplay a small squad but that's because you actually get to AIM in other shooters and they don't have overpowered melee. In this game the accuracy and hit detection (and server delay) is all over the place so its impossible to play well and even more so as a ranged class. Going back to the capture points: this is just the single biggest issue with the game currently. Everyone spawns on top of one another in this huge cluster fuq and the defending team is always so close or right on the point in a lot of maps. Making it impossible to cap especially when the fights are all in ENCLOSED SPACES IN TINY ROOMS. There's no room to move, no room to fight, no room to attack. Just defenders endlessly spawning on your head until you give up and go elsewhere. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Then they get to redeploy and come stop you at the other point! Joy! WHO THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!? Gg dead game. Will check back in a month to see if its still alive. Had a small amount of hope for this game but its just getting crushed and the main issues just keep going unchecked constantly.
Gonna have to side the Katitof on this one. My suggestion to you is to group up, clear a point, then cap while the defenders are on their respawn timer. Then just hold out until they beat you or you take the point. If anything spawning as a defender on a contested point needs to be looked at. Sometimes the spawns are fine, a brisk sprint away. Sometimes they are ridiculous, such as choosing to spawn at A and spawning in the attacker deployment zone instead. If that's the case I might as well just spawn at attacker deployment.
u wot m8? I've taken down groups of 2 and 3 before as a Stormboy. Are you fighting against melee as a ranged class like a Tactical or Devastator? Because you will lose. You're supposed to kill the melee before they get in range, not allow them to get in range, then cry about how your Combat Knife lost out to a Vamp Chain-Choppa. Are you fighting 1v2 on melee? Because of course you'd lose, more numbers is always a huge advantage. Kill them before they get backup, or retreat.

Well I got to admit spawning on the point that is being actively caped is kinda bad right now. I mean they basically spawn on top of you sometimes.
There is NO fine line between an opinion and fact. His commentary is not based on FACTS, just his perception. As this is all based on opinion, other people are free to dispute that based on their own perceptions and opinions. Each are as valid relatively to each other.
No one here said anything about open world and he did point out what he perceives to be legitimate issues with the spawning system. Some of us don't agree, or don't agree entirely. I for one am not of the belief that it's impossible to capture points or beat people in melee when you are outnumbered by a small margin. I do believe the cluster spawning is an issue and the redeploy to teleport across the map is also an issue. He brings up good points, but the reason I agree with Katitof's saltshaker is that notice how OP constructs his thread. "dead game until spawn system fixed" is hardly sounds like a productive title. It's definitely flashy though, so I suppose that can be excused as it's in a forum oversaturated with threads. This sentence drips with spite, making the OP come off as malcontent. He proceeds to list off reasons he may be driven to continue downvoting the game, all legitimate reasons except for the last one. The last one is horrendously innacurate. You can very well capture points, usually at least one being captured in every single match. What does not seem to happen though is the defense of a point after capture. Judging by the way he speaks he is looking at this from the side of the attackers and in my experience attackers never seem to assault a point together, take it, then break off into a defending group and an attacking group. people run circles about the map moving from point to point to point just as he said. I'm not against legitimate discontent with the game, in fact there are plenty of reasons for it. I'm against people acting like their word is not above reproach. I can't say I've ever seen it happen. The people spawning always seem to be a good 1-3 seconds away in terms of running towards the point if not shooting or jumping. Would like to hear any examples you might have though.
I don't understand how spawning at a contested point works in general. It seems like it's either right outside or halfway across the map.
