Is the Defensive Bash ability for Orks supposed to be intentionally shorter than everyone else's? View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7EvWgZyw5c&feature=youtu.be Edit: Added Eldar for comparison's sake View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHQ57OGD5pQ&feature=youtu.be @BrentEllison @MichaelChan Hoping for a comment.
Of course it is. Your leg is longer than your neck. Obviously you cant headbutt as far as you can kick. Jeez... Interesting point. The difference is actually quite remarkable.
Might just be a "balance" thing, cus Orks are stocky and have stubby legs, so they can't lunge that far forward. Then again, they do have a "charge attack" which is a literal run-headbutt animation. Might just be a form of fat shaming.
Asymmetrical ? Not being sarcastic, but there is a clear difference. and is shown in the video. I would have to assume its intend ?
Would be nice for some clarification on this one. Perhaps if it isn't intentional, the new animations for ork melee on the UAT will fix it.
That's what I want to find out, if it's really asymmetrical "balance" or not. Because if it is, it kind of sucks that Orks get the short end of the stick on the one thing they're supposed to excell at over every other faction: Melee Combat. In a game of "rock paper scissors", everything should be equal, otherwise, give Orks bigger rocks to smash your heads in, if you catch my drift. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHQ57OGD5pQ&feature=youtu.be Here you go! I tested it out with the Banshee at first, and you definitely have more range than the Orks, but less than the LSM/CSM. Interesting to note is that the animation for the Banshee, at least to me, seems slower than the Striking Scorpion, even though they cover the same amount of ground.
While you're at it fix lunge range...in fact, scrap it all together. on the last day i played I exploded from a claw attack even though the ork had only *just* started the leap and was some distance away from me. F*&king borked.
