I think that's a much better offer than commanding a squad or two with some ridiculous micro management. DoW is RTS not a turn based game.

Instead of micro managing squads and tanks you can micro manage tech priests building things!

Im just salty. The game will probably still be fun.

Unless we're talking Chaos Gate level of micro management  well but still that was a turn based game (btw - the best eva)

The rest is far from meaningless. MOBA graphics and space marines doing flashy back-flip thunder hammer attacks are not fitting for the DoW series and THQ would have never allowed it. Sega is calling a game DoW III that's not DoW III and that's why the majority dislike it. The game is not being made for DoW fans. The art style and gameplay are both being simplified to attract players from Starcraft and League of Legends. If THQ was making this they would have went for bigger battles and hero progression, but instead of simplifying things they would be coming up with new features and mechanics that other RTS titles would copy for the next 10 years, with graphics closer to Inquisitor Martyr.

I'll repeat myself - NOT FITTING FOR THE DOW SERIES. If someone wants to make a simple cartoon WH40K game go for it but don't call it Dawn of War.

Why not?Its allready part of the cannon no?Just because you(we) dont like it doesnt mean it will change.

It's not part of Dawn of War, and neither are the other hundred conflicting pieces of cannon.
