Trailier wasn't made by relic I think it was made by a differnt studios. It could be possible instead of a space marine faction with the blood raven low numbers that the blood ravens have request aid or are rolling with other imperial arms in the next game so its possible we could see units from other stations of the imperium. Well eldar have to have some super heavy unit in size. Could just be a smaller variation of eldar titans or made smaller to take on imperial knights.
I hate the fact that they add Imperial Knights and equivalents just for the sake of adding them. Where is the asymmetrical balance that DoW 1 had? Now it's like SM get a Knight, Eldar get a Knight, Ork get something as big as a Knight, everyone gets a Knight.
Erm... Not only do we not know the full unit rosters or heroic abilities for each faction but what makes you think the Knights are going to be symmetrically balanced?
we know that the knight is a "ranged power house" i'm sure that other " kinght sized" units of other faction will not be ranged powerhouse. http://www.pcgamer.com/how-relic-devs-plan-to-raise-our-game-for-dawn-of-war-3s-campaign/ “One of the things with a really deep equipment system is that you can move units, they become a little mushy—they can do a little bit of everything. Dawn of War 3 units are built to do specific things. You unlock the option to make them do those things in a slightly different way but Gabriel is still an up-close melee brawler tank and Soleria [the Imperial Knight] is always going to be a ranged powerhouse.”
Because the lore says so. Their only difference will be their stats, in general, they're the same. Also, if they wanted to make it asymmetrical, they would not give SM Imperial Knight in the 1st place.
I dunno. A lot of what I'm seeing is just triggers alarm bells all over. The removal of directional cover, for one.
