Hey brothers and sisters of the dark gods I greet you too this thread Im an active D&D player but mostly a G.M and i was planing on turning my group into a Black Crusade Group I was wondering if anyone on this has played or is playing it and has any advice on it and if anyone has any cool or funny story's about campaigns they've done.

In person but i want to get as much info on it as i can as im trying to get through the heresy books at the moment
Ah well there are quite a few resources you can use in person, I have also found that if your friends have a large collection of figures from the army you can use them for battles. Visualization of the battlefield can help speed up combat considerably. Any idea of a campaign? I know all the books have modules in that can help you get started.
I was think since they are all mostly good i was thinking of promoting the them to space marines through the great crusade and then let them slowly turn them to chaos because there all very power hungry then incite a heresy and make them do battles from the books eg ivastan ,the abyss and then let them either take terra or send them back to the eye of terror in-between ill have random planets with xenos and warp trials ,and primarch special missions eg :help Magnus and the thousand sons escape from Russ and thing of that nature hopefully get a good few campaigns out of it .
