Archons as Hero Classes.. Really wouldn't be sad about that and I usually play CWE~

Hey in the end there will only be factions added if it really does well and in continuous and doesn't fail after half a year.
I mean we hardcore warhammer fans will always play it because of the IP being pay once only though we cannot support it, but to the general public it'll just be another game and if not good not worth playing.

I hope it's gonna be fucking awesome and WoW players even start playing this more than WoW!

Still no sound reason for DE participating in the fun on Arkhova. Singe Kabal leading by glory/slves/whatever-hungry commander or raiding group does not feel like entire faction with HQ, frontlines, single command center and such. Yes, DE can ally themselves with others for profit(and the fact that they not get all the dakka from an enemy for themselves), so why not ? Make DE a DLC, give them ability to chose with which faction they can ally(somehow limiting how frequently they can change faction, by some sort of "traitor points" or by simple timer or give them choice after important "control points" battle is fought, so they can stick with the winner for trophies from battle, or offer their services to loser for a price as they surely will be trying to take that point back). It will be lore-wise and DE players will be pleased as they can fight with temporary allies(so they have someone to hide behind) and selling them for good price when bored enough with them. Totally DE-like if you ask me.

To be honest, no faction has any better reason to participate with multiple chapters/warbands/clans/craftworlds or to really have any kind of HQ on a planet either. Space Marines are not some sort of colonists who are to settle somewhere, eldar are also continuously on the move.

Dark Eldar having a base on the field is still a bit weird, of course, but I doubt the game will have any permanent residences on the battlefield itself.
There has been talk of spaceships from where you deploy to the battlefield (or something like that), Dark Eldar can just as well have ships, in or out of the webway.

If there indeed will be a "command center" for each faction that is permanently somewhere in the battlefield, it could be made mobile.

You right, but isn't making DE part of existing faction will benefit gameplay in the "quantities" part ? Yes, there Tyranids, but if we divide the number of players in a lot of factions it's possible that one or two factions will be constantly under Tyranid attacks(SM and Orcs, presumably). There four sides of conflict on a single map, don't forget it, so numbers of players matter. It is not a session shooter like Battlefild and "adding" DE to every faction won't disrupt balance of powers by lot. After all, we still don't tested/tasted Tyrannids, so having a spare variant won't hurt. :)

I love Dark Eldar(I think I prefer them to Craftworld Eldar) and would love to see them in the game. However, as has been pointed out before, they'd play pretty much the same as CWE. I think factions like the Tau and Necrons should be added before DE because of that reason.

Following the lore they are rather the opposite, even in game mechanics.

In some cases, true, but there is still a strong aspect of hit&run as well as agile and quick fighters.

But quite a lot of things make them unique from CWE, including poison, transports used for assault purposes, the Power from Pain, night vision (would love to know how that could be implemented), as well as the lovely carneval of the coven-engines.

And also, if we are using similarity as a reason to keep factions off from Eternal Crusade, why the heck do we already have half of our playable factions being grim guys in power armour with all the same weapons and units? (not all weapons but over 50% of them are the same...)

SM is iconic race of WH40k and Chaos is the iconic "bad guys". There nothing can be done here, WH40k without Chaos is not complete.
