Barely any armor customization for eldar yeh I guess but I havn't paid too much attention to their models, now SM on the other hand, you got fw bits and bring all the kits together you get a tonne! I don't see what's stopping BE from letting you customize your character to look like a badass looking veteran for your normal class eventually (without the major stat bonuses)!

Continous campaign is eve like, and better than gw2, ps2's "campaign"/pvp.

Would like to see some gw2, lol; some way to be ranked, as a team, that would go faar. Esports posibilities, something to "fight for"; a carrot/ competition.

EVE got more possibilities to play the game, its not just pvp shooter, you can be the lawless pirate, mine, manufacturing, trading, exploration, pve, i would like to see that in EC. I do like the passivley training in eve but at the same time it shuts out new ppl to much; to much advantage/ no fun.
  3. I would definitely be in support of weather conditions that limited visibility, whether that is created by fog, sandstorm, ash from a volcano or whatever. Night might be cool, depends on if you can change gamma or not which would make it useless. Other weather effects like tornados, hurricanes, or events like earthquakes might be interesting but that might not be viable, although an earthquake that say breaks into a Nid hive and then a bunch of angry Nids (are there any other kind?) pour out and attack would be pretty cool.
  4. Dude...I saw people play MechWarriorOnline for 2 years while complaining the game has a bad matchmaker, bad hit detection, bad pay model bad this and bad that.

As long as you have a good franchise (WH40k counts as top ranking) and give your people something to do beside shooting (see the Mechhangar to build stuff and change stuff in MWO) you are good to go for about 2+ years.

    So...its all good.

Besides...you get every game last 10x as long when you play it with the right people. Play it in a team, if your successfull and winning with your friends...I promise you wont look for another game soon.

  5. Yep, I bought a lot of mechs in MWO. It is a decent game, but I got tired of them seemingly more interested in selling mechs than working on the game.

The last thing I played to 100% completion in the form of all unlocks, skins, and whut nut was BF4 and that toulk 900 hours, or 6 months after I finished my last items sniper rifles I could "play for fun" cause there wasn't anything left to unlock, I think I made it another 60 something hours :(. I only forced my self to play after that cause I was a Admin on rTr servers and they needed to be looked after like a 2-3 year old.

I hope that there is more content for me to digest then 50 hours per race maybe 50 hours per class and then veteran that up so you could keep a few points on the Talent tree and spec up again. kinda like COD MW2 and pristegeing allowing you to keep a set even though you were not high enough to use it yet. ANY THING BUT DoW2 retribution elite status that did pretty much nothing but give you a pip under your rank and % boosts that you don't use any how cause gear is how you win.

  7. Games don't tend to get old very quickly for me, I've played the same campaigns on L4D2, rushed the bridges of druzina, killed the same floors, and shot the same Nazis for a long time, and what makes it all fresh and fun is my friends, me and my friends can do pretty much anything, play any game (as long as it is up to snuff) for until we stop making hilarious comments, and that usually lasts for a while.

I guess it all depends, I play with a tight nit group of friends who can make anything fun. Though I know quite a few people who don't play with friends all too often, and they still play games for a long time, or they get bored quick.

It all really depends on your situation. And from what I have seen maybe two or three of my friends is going to get into EC, so I'll have to see how it is, but I believe my 40K love will keep it fresh.

Well, I still play CS 0.6 and Ghost Recon 1 with my friends, the problem is we do it once in a while only otherwise it would simply be boring. Thinking about EC I would like to have a game I could play on a daily basis or almost at least(for a long time).

The main selling point of the game (besides it being 40k) was that it was going to be a vast open world battle simulator. I don't see the game surviving very long now that that has been chucked out the window for the time being.

If progression is the only thing that drives you to play a game you should really figure out a new reason to play, because progression will always be finite and honestly that is a pretty shallow way to look at a game.

I understand there really isn't much else to do in battlefield but if you played the game just to unlock everything and then got bored of it almost immediately afterwards the game must have sucked ass to begin with.
