Prospero burns and Thousans sons (teh books) in my opinion actually point to the other diretion ,that they actually use subtrfuge and lies (Wyrmdrake or whatever was his name that pretented to be a friend to Ahriman and was just collecting information,and the whole deal about the counsil of Nikea (spelling i guess) that had DG,SW ,EC and BA actually betraying the Thousand sons.And then we have the quote from the codex that says that they dont speak of the 13th.
You mean they don't speak of a company that are known for turning into Wulfen which they're taught is a terrible thing? How did they betray the Thousand Sons? I haven't read that book.
The 13th while they had their own share of wulfen they werent all wulfen ,think of them like Bran Redmaws company on steroids and lacking gear!And they didnt talk about them for other reasons not beacuse of the wulfen! Read the books, im not going to write about those legions hypocricy and lies perhaps Kilbo could give you a summary of the books afterall he likes writing a lot!
I know they aren't all Wulfen I meant more that the thing they are known for was the large amount of Wulfen. Similar to how Ragnar's company is known for Drop Pod attacks. Is this one of the times where there is actually the lies and such or one of those times where there really isn't and people exaggerate it?
Considering that Wulfen may further Devolve into something like Thunder Wolves, I would say you are wrong. Prospero Burns did mention this does happen. Plus you must consider that the Wulfen have been in the Eye of Terror, which means they have not experienced the full weight of the last 10,000 years. That and it may have affected their Wulfen mutation. The thing is Space Wolves record their history Orally. They don't write it down. So it is easier for information to become lost or corrupted. And they know something of the 13th Company and Wulfen, but just from their oral tradition. But they're not hiding the facts about the Wulfen. It has just faded into Legend. Wulfen being of the 13th Company was established by at least 2003 (if not earlier). So how is 12 to 13 years recent? You'll have to ask BL about that. Why not email them?
Um, I didn't say anything against members of the 13th company being Wulfen, or claiming that they didn't used to be, rather I was on about how the Curse doesn't affect the rest of the chapter unless their in close proximity to members of the 13th and how they've been retconned to be previously unaware of the Wulfen's existence.
Oh jesus hopping on a crutch, this is the last straw. They actually added more wolf-items to the armory! We used to joke about Thunderwolf-riding Wolf lord wielding dual thunderpuppies, but this is just taking the piss. GW has taken this beyond the line where parody even makes sense. You can't make up anything worse than the real thing. Not happy.
