Have you ever heard of this Apple company? Any fashin related one? Smokes? At my first job, I was able to cut holes in camera to get access to hidden ports, which were there pre-build but covered and another camera model with them opened was sold for much higher price. I think it was Sony camera at a time, can be wrong though as it was over a decade ago. Every single industry that can milks people as much as possible as the gov regulations allow. That is literally how every industry maybe except military oriented ones operates in USA for example, using cheap tricks, materials, ingredients, misleading you with names on labels of products and lists of ingredients.
All those industry's you mentioned have already been regulated.. unlike the gaming industry. Not my business you aren't happy with how they are regulated. do you own a car? those things cost a fortune to maintain. get them to service every year, pay for insurance etc. I´m glad I dont have one anymore. saves me a lot of money.
Service every year ? Who told you that ? Cars need a service job every few years .. not every year. Check your car manual it's usually around every 100.000 km.. your talking about the yearly road safety check I bet. that's there because idiots exist. Idiots that wont fix a broken vehicle and actually kill innocent bystanders because they could not be arsed to change a few tires that were worn down. Sure it costs money to maintain.. but that's because a car is real.. and it subject to wear and tear. A virtual car in a racing game isn't.

the rest i do myself I change the oil on all 3 of the cars I own myself. I don't need to pay a guy to do that basic shit. It's Not even expensive .. the oil you can buy literally at the action store or aldi. costs about 25 eu orso. Simple maintenance like that doesn't require you to go into a garage and pay a guy to do it for you.
Yeah but what happens if you accidentally drink the oil? Hence why it's best to get a professional involved with the proper safety equipment
